PedraBonita/Waterfalls and Favelas (Spectacular) - By chance we met Flavio through acquaintances and relied on him to take a trip. We took a walk and went up to see Pedra Bonita who is really beautiful, we passed in the middle of the forest and finished the walk with a refreshing bath in one of the beautiful waterfalls. In the afternoon we had lunch inside a favela and took a ride with motorbike taxis and then had a beer in one of the local bars. Rating 10 for the day... Thanks Flavio

Amazing VIP Rio de Janeiro tour with a reasonable price. - Amazing VIP Rio de Janeiro tour with a reasonable price. Flavio is a knowledgeable do-it-all tour guide that led us through Rio on a day trip with smashing success. The tour started with an airport pick up and the first stop was Sugarloaf mountain. The picturesque views from the cable car and top of the mountain were breathtaking. Next, we moved on to Copacabana beach for a swim and beverage while looking at one of the most famous beaches in Brazil. Next, we moved on to the Vidigal beach area to see the contrast with our first beach stop. Next, we visited the Christ the Redeemer statue to bask in the sun and absorb the famous area. While descending from the area we stopped at a local restaurant to sample domestic Brazilian cuisine. After a very tasty lunch we moved on to the Rio cathedral, famous stairs of Santa Teresa, and finally the Regiao Portuaria monestary. Flavio does an outstanding job giving fun facts and info about Brazilian history. He also insures easy access to all the locations usually driving right to the spot and avoiding long lines in heavy traffic areas. After an action-packed day Flavio dropped us off a the airport to catch our flight. We saw the top spots in Rio in less than 10 hours including lunch. This is a can't miss tour and should be on everyone's bucket list. Rio is simply a magical place to visit. I highly recommend this tour and Flavio.

Sao Paulo and Rio with a knowlegeable native - Flavio guided us for a day in Sao Paulo, and a day and a half in Rio. He gave us an incredible experience! He is a true native of Rio, and knows Sao Paulo from living there for several years. He is knowledgeable, flexible and kind. He understands the traffic, and is a true expert on the food scene in S.P. (and then Rio). We loved our time in Sao Paulo with him. Rio was even better. He showed us Christ the Redeemer with minimal waiting and the best views. Flavio has a comfortable car, and he was very attentive to letting us have our experiences at the places he took us. I recommend him at the highest level and without any reservations. He was the factor that took our trip to Brazil from good to great/incredible.

You should use Flavio! - Flavio did a great job. We had him for about 7 hours, and we learned so much about Brazil and Rio and Portugese!
He allowed us to customize the tour. It was late February, so the weather was perfect. Saw a ton! Ate a quick lunch while on the tour. Totally worth it!!! We would to it again.
So much easier and better than trying to do things for ourselves!

Sympathy and flexibility of the guide - Excellent experience! Flávio is very friendly and attentive. The possibility to customize the tour is a big difference because we could include tips from friends on the journey. I recommend!

Day of carioca jewelry - The tour was amazing! Tupi showed me the authentic Rio de Janeiro and I had fun being a gem carioca for a day! I still learned a lot from the history of Rio!

Exceptional service by Flavio - We made a last minute booking in the morning at 7 AM, and Flavio was with us at 9 AM. We can't thank Flavio enough for showing us the REAL Rio! Our first day in the city was disappointing as our Hang Gliding tour was canceled at the last moment, but Flavio completely turned our experience around.
With his expert knowledge, infectious enthusiasm, and personalized approach, he revealed a Rio we never knew existed. From hidden gems to local favorites, he took us on an unforgettable adventure.
Flavio's passion for Rio is contagious, and his pride in sharing its secrets is evident. He listened to our interests and tailored the tour to exceed our expectations. When he learnt that we could not do hang gliding the previous day, he quickly got on a call with an expert and arranged for us to do it the same day and drove us across the city to do it!

My Rio de Janeiro from a new perspective - What an amazing experience!!! The best of life, I've been thinking when I'll repeat. Carioca living in São Paulo for 10 years, was the best way to "kill the miss" of my city, with the most good people, the best tours and the best stories.
