DAY 1 – Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro - Upon arrival at either GIG airport, SDU airport, or the port, travelers will be greeted by a member of our specialized meet and greet team holding a sign with their name. Once connected, the staff will escort them to meet the guide waiting just outside the terminal.

During the transfer to the hotel, the knowledgeable guide will provide a brief introduction to Rio de Janeiro and the surrounding hotel area. After settling in, the rest of the day is free for leisure activities, such as exploring the famous beaches of Copacabana or Ipanema.

DAY 2 – Excursion to Christ the Redeemer & More – Night Dance Show with Dinner

Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon - At around 10:00 am, the private guide will meet guests at their hotel to begin the journey to the base of Corcovado Mountain by car, passing by Rio’s beaches and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon.

Tour Duration: Approximately 8 hours

Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer - In the Cosme Velho district, guests will board a unique Swiss cogwheel train that ascends the mountain to near the summit. A short climb up a flight of stairs leads to the iconic Christ the Redeemer Statue. The view from this vantage point, with the Tijuca National Forest below and a circle of mountains framing the horizon at the back of Guanabara Bay, is truly breathtaking. After time for photos, the group will descend.

Santa Teresa - Next, the tour heads to the bohemian Santa Teresa neighborhood, known for its local boutiques and galleries. This charming area also boasts trendy bars and restaurants offering a variety of snacks and dishes, along with stunning views.

Lapa - From Santa Teresa, the tour continues to Lapa, home to the famous Selaron steps, a stairway adorned with colorful tiles. Known for its vibrant bohemian atmosphere, Lapa is lively both day and night.

Centro - The tour proceeds through Rio’s downtown, exploring some of the most interesting tourist areas and cultural sights until reaching Mauá Square. The walk includes historic attractions, numerous bars and restaurants, and culminates at Mauá Square, a gathering place for diverse groups.

Maua Square - Mauá Square combines beauty, security, style, and a rich cultural atmosphere, highlighted by the “Tomorrow Museum.” Guests will receive historical information presented in an engaging manner.

Ginga Tropical - Deciding on a night out in Rio can be challenging for visitors. Opt for a captivating traditional live musical dance show featuring various Brazilian cultural expressions, rhythms, performances, dances, and a taste of Samba music and Brazilian Carnival. Accompanied by a guide, guests will enjoy a majestic performance by talented singers, dancers, and “skillful capoeira” performers, creating an energetic atmosphere unique to Rio. Before the show, guests can participate in a 30-minute samba dance workshop led by professional dancers.

Rio de Janeiro - Prior to the show, guests will dine at a nearby “all-you-can-eat” steakhouse. The buffet includes a variety of salads, charcuterie, side dishes, fried manioc, onion rings, fried bananas, and more, with a focus on perfectly grilled beef cuts tailored to individual preferences. (Dinner is included in the price) An expert bilingual guide ensures a safe and exciting experience, providing interpretation and explanations throughout. DAY 3 – Excursion to Sugarloaf, Rio Botanical Garden & More

Sugarloaf Mountain - In the morning, the guide will meet guests around 10:00 am for the excursion to Sugarloaf Mountain. Two cable cars will transport guests to the top, offering breathtaking views of Rio from a different perspective than Corcovado. Afterward, guests may choose to enjoy lunch at a delightful “all-you-can-eat buffet” steakhouse (not included).

Jardim Botanico - Later, the tour continues to the Rio Botanical Garden, home to over 6,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants and trees, including around 900 varieties of palm trees. The garden also hosts a variety of wildlife, particularly birds, with Toucans often spotted in the treetops.

Copacabana Beach - The tour will pass by several points of interest, including Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, Maracanã Stadium (exterior view), and other sights. After the excursion, guests will be returned to their hotel, with the afternoon free for leisure.

DAY 4 – Full Day Tour to Angra and Ilha Grande Experiencing Unforgettable Scenic Beaches

Angra Dos Reis - After being picked up in Rio by a private guide, guests will embark on a 3-hour drive to Angra dos Reis, traveling along a winding road through mountains with stunning views of valleys and escarpments beside the ocean, perfect for photo stops and contemplation.

Lagoa Azul - Angra dos Reis offers numerous activities, all leading to the sea. Guests will arrive at a marina to board a motorboat for a small group tour, exploring the main offshore islands and hopping from one paradise to another.

During the tour, there are opportunities for swimming in enticing turquoise waters, diving among colorful fish, and exploring wild or bustling beaches, experiencing culture, food, and the breathtaking Ilha Grande, a postcard-perfect island. Ilha Grande is a premier diving spot in Brazil, offering attractions for both amateur and advanced divers. With clear, warm waters, it boasts one of the world’s largest concentrations of shipwrecks, a legacy of historical battles between pirates and corsairs.

Lagoa Azul - The boat tour, conducted in a shared group, includes stops for photos, exploration, snacks or lunch, and souvenir shopping. The Blue Lagoon, a postcard-perfect spot on Ilha Grande, is ideal for diving, with its incredible water hues and pleasant natural pools.

Lagoa Verde, Ilha Grande - A top snorkeling destination, Lagoa Verde is home to many small fish eager to be fed. Its calm, transparent, green waters are inviting.

Praia de Japariz - Japariz Beach is a great lunch stop and shopping spot, inhabited by a small community of fishermen and traders with strong ties to the mainland.

Visitors can also take a short trip to the nearby beautiful Funil Beach, nestled among mountains, forest, and sea. It’s worth spending 15 minutes of lunch time to visit, with its clear waters and calm, lake-like sea.

Feiticeira Beach - Praia da Feiticeira is renowned for its natural beauty, surrounded by trees, flowers, and wildlife, accompanied by the sounds of the Atlantic Forest.

Praia do Amor - Tradition holds that couples who kiss on Praia do Amor’s sand will never part. Better safe than sorry! This stop is purely for tradition’s sake.

DAY 5 – Hotel to Airport Transfer - End of Tour

Rio de Janeiro - No scheduled activities are planned for the 5th day. Guests will be driven to the airport whenever their flight departs.

For international flights, it’s recommended to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before departure, and 3 hours for large groups.

If guests have an extended stay in Rio de Janeiro, there’s no need to head to the airport on the 5th day, as transfer out is guaranteed.
