Someone asked me what was my favorite part of my Brazil visit - and this may have been it! Definitely top 3!!! - I cannot say enough positive things about the flexibility, knowledge and just fun and joy that I had on this kayaking trip. In short, if you like the water and being in nature, DO THIS EXCURSION! This is exactly the type of thing I like to do when I’m on vacation and traveling. But when I was doing my research, this never came up! I didn’t even see it listed in things to do until I was already on my way to Foz do Iguazu. I wasn’t sure then if I could fit it in, but the guys from the company figured it out and helped me make it happen (communicating in English by WhatsApp). I signed up the night before, showed up that morning and I am so glad I did. I did this in the early morning when I had a flight that early afternoon to Rio. I was able to get back to my hotel shower change clothes grab my luggage that was already packed and got to the airport in time. Whew! Because it was the winter and cold in the morning ( I did the early morning trip), I was the only one on the trip. I cannot say enough about the fact that instead of canceling on me, I got a private excursion. I had so much fun and learned so much about the area, The wildlife, the river, the history of the area . And it was just a great day on the water with a nice hike in and out. I’ll be honest. Because it was so hard to find out about this, it didn’t come up in my initial searches, and every review is five stars (how’s that possible?) , I was concerned that it was a scam. I 100% assure you it is not a scam. The other thing that kind of took me back was a meeting spot is a bit out of town and in the intersection between the farming community and the woods but on Google maps it said it was a eco sports company so I figured what the heck.why not. Again, I’m so glad I did. The guys speak English and of course, Portuguese and also some Spanish maybe other languages too. I love the story of how their company came to be. They used to go to the river for fun for themselves after working and on weekends and they said, hey is there a way we can turn this into an actual job and they did! And we are all the better for it. I love the story about how the first year they were hiking all the equipment in in the morning down to the river, then doing the tours, then finishing the tours, then hiking all the equipment all way back out of the river area and into storage somewhere. They come a long way since then! No more hiking equipment in. They have their own permanent structures etc. I think they’ve been in business for about a little bit less than a decade. There was a storm a couple years ago that destroyed their changing room and nice bathroom outpost so be aware of that. Tip - wear water shoes and layers. I had socks on and water shoes for the first part of hike because it was cold but by the end, I was warm and toasty. In short, if you like the water, do this!

Great experience! - This was a great hiking and kayaking experience with very friendly and knowledgeable guides in a very beautiful area. The guides knew the terrain very well, were able to communicate with us in English, and were very prepared. The hike was adequately challenging for us 58-year-olds who love to hike in the mountains in Colorado (not just boring and flat). I would highly recommend this the activity!

Amazing! - Amazing experience! Approx half kayaking and half hiking plus a swim in a beautiful secluded waterfall. Hike is a bit challenging, but the company installed ropes and stairs to help. The paddle back is also a bit challenging. 5 stars! Wear bug spray!

Well Worth the Time!! - We had not originally planned on doing a kayaking tour, but I am so glad that we did! This is way more than just kayaking on this amazing river between Brazil and Argentina, we also hiked through jungle, tasted local fruits, played in a waterfall, and left with a new appreciation for this beautiful area! Jefferson and his team did a great job of keeping us safe going up and down the jungle trail, and Francisco led the kayaking tour. Archie helped us along the entire tour. We are 70 & 78 years old, and my daughter is 40. They helped us when needed, and we always felt safe and respected. If you want yo get away from "touristy" places, see some nature that's off the beaten path, and spend an enjoyable time with some great guys - I highly recommend this tour!

Worth every second - Fantastic and immersive experience. It started with an easy trek in the rainforest, we then moved on to a hidden waterfall through canoeing in the river. Unforgettable! The guides and all the personnel was very nice and made the stay so so enjoyable. Worth every minute if you like this kind of experiences.

Fun hiking and kayaking in Iguaçu - We had a great time on the hiking/kayaking expedition! The rainforest and river were beautiful and the guides pointed out some cool stuff. We chose to go a little farther and hike to a nice waterfall for a short swim. Thanks Jefferson, Fran, and Artur!

Fantastic experience - You can’t miss it, walking through the jungle and then going down the river by kayak was a unique experience, and to crown swimming in the jungle river inside. It was the most. Super cool guides explain everything.
