• Aguaray Eco Esportes - Embark on an exhilarating adventure through the forest along the Iguaçu River, a site of unparalleled beauty. Participants will hike scenic trails, navigate the Iguaçu River, and enjoy refreshing swims in stunning waterfalls.

Road map

The journey starts with a trek along the “Trilha Ecológica do Índio,” a trail leading to the Canoeing Base situated on the Iguaçu River’s banks. Throughout the path, there is an abundance of information about the Atlantic Forest, its biome, anthropology, and culture.

Upon reaching the Canoeing Base, participants receive instructions and are equipped with safety gear. Once prepared, they embark on a paddling excursion towards the Tamanduá River, engaging in a gentle and soothing canoeing experience. The region’s breathtaking scenery offers enchanting moments of connection with nature.

At Rio Tamanduá, participants disembark and hike to Cachoeira da Toca. After enjoying the waterfalls and taking a refreshing dip, they return to the kayaks and paddle back to the base.

In the final segment of the tour, participants admire the Juruvá Waterfall before following the trail back.

Aguaray Eco Sports is a Foz do Iguaçu based organization that emerged from a group of adventure-sport enthusiasts who deeply appreciate nature. This passion prompted the idea of offering individuals the chance to engage in these adventurous activities, with a focus on canoeing and trekking. These activities are offered in the stunning natural landscapes of Foz do Iguaçu, which include rivers, cascades, and forests abundant with wildlife.

Our mission is to develop activities that blend leisure, sports, and the environment, with the goal of bringing people closer to the natural wonders of Foz do Iguaçu. We aim to provide both guests and locals with a memorable experience, encouraging exploration of our city’s natural beauty. Moreover, we foster an awareness of the need to reevaluate and reshape our interaction with our planet, using nature as a wellspring of inspiration and knowledge.
