Mirante do Pati - The journey begins in Lençóis, departing at 7am towards the Guinea settlement, approximately a 2-hour drive. The adventure starts with a challenging hike, ascending the Aleixos for about an hour, offering breathtaking views as a reward. After the ascent, the trail leads through the stunning Gerais of Rio Preto, where a refreshing swim in the river awaits before reaching the Mirante do Pati, a highlight of the expedition. A picnic lunch is enjoyed at the summit, followed by an exhilarating descent to the Altina Waterfall, where a swim concludes the day perfectly. In the evening, enjoy a homemade dinner at a local resident’s home under a starry sky reminiscent of a movie scene.

Castle Hill and Funil Waterfall

Morro do Castelo - After a hearty regional breakfast, the day begins early with a trek to Morro do Castelo, one of the highest and most challenging points of the journey. The demanding climb is rewarded with the arrival at Grotta da Lapinha, an impressive cave at the hill’s peak. The trek continues around the top of Morro, reaching two viewpoints offering panoramic views of the Valley, where a picnic lunch is enjoyed with a stunning backdrop. The day concludes with a descent and a relaxing swim in the Cachoeira do Funil before returning to the local home for another restful night.
