Lovely end cap to our midwest girls trip - Our last leg from Branson to St Louis was 4 hours which meant leaving Branson at 8:30 central would put us in St Louis just in time for lunch. We parked close by in the city parking at 200 N Broadway. We strolled over a block & had a lovely lunch at UKraft then met up with Jim Davis at The Runner statue in Kiener Plaza. The communication for our booking started shortly after booking. This helped us know when & where to meet & what to expect. These instructions were exceptionally clear. We also then had a direct way to converse with our guide should issues arise. The tour lasted approximately two hours. We enjoyed the historical insight that Jim provided , as well as modern additions in recent years. Busch Stadium was cool to see more clearly without a sea of people on game day. I especially loved the history of Drury Inn & fur trading. The bronze statue of Dred & Harriet Scott at the old courthouse is stunning. You could spend a whole tour on that historical case alone. Jim gave us pointers for staying in the city, game day spots, & pointers that we wouldn’t have known without his expertise. I highly recommend his tour near the beginning of your stay in St Louis!

Walking, Talking and Taking Pictures - Roger did a great job! He was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. I highly recommend this tour if you like walking around and seeing the sights and sounds of St. Louis. From Freedom Plaza to the Arch with St. Louis Blues and Cardinals Baseball talk in between; it is certainly worth your time. You may even have a hawk join the tour! Thumbs up for the toasted ravioli, too! Thanks again!!

A great history of St. Louis - What a great tour! Our guide, Trey, did an awesome job of telling us the history of St. Louis as well as the history of the Old Courthouse, which is now part of the Gateway Arch National Park. He showed us around the grounds of the National Park complex and escorted us into the Arch to show us how to access the rail cars to the top of the Arch. The museum beneath the Arch has a wealth of information about the founding of St. Louis and the westward expansion. If you have 2 or 3 hours to spend and are able to stand and walk to explore, this is a great experience. Perfect for teenaged children.

The Arch and so much more! - Our guide came to our hotel and told us all about it, Roger is super knowledgeable and completely introduced us to St. Louis in a totally unexpected way, we got to see the basilica of St. Louis, the baseball stadium where there are so many little nuggets of history all along the outside of the stadium, many pic opportunities, then we walked through the city garden Sculpture park and then into the Kiener Memorial Sculpture and Fountain. So many things have their headquarters in St. Louis, Tums, Purina, we also heard about the creation of sweetarts and all of the wonderful things that were premiered at the World Fair in 1904. We then visited the old courthouse and heard the stories of people who have sued and won historic battles. Finally we got to the Arch, the museum is fabulous and covers from the Louisiana Purchase to the building of the Arch. Thank you Roger for an amazing day!!

Roger was an amazing... - Roger was an amazing guide! With the Arch closed, he called and worked with the ones who signed up. He created an historical walking tour that was interesting and informative. I saw some really interesting things that I would never have stumbled on by myself. I really recommend him as a guide but also offering a lot walking tour. We had a great time - the two women I shared the tour with and I had lunch after Roger left us at Union Station. We all agreed that the tour was really great and Roger was amazing! I would absolutely do another tour with him again! Great day!

Government shut down - This is all closed due to government shut down. A overheard a man tell his little boy that when you get to the top that it feels like it is swaying! This would not be good for some people. No one with height problems would be going up here either. They do have some type of cruise boats that stop by. Nice walking trails also.

Ripoff if you can read. - Total ripoff. The arch is only $11. and the other tours are free! $96. for 3 people and they don’t have a business address. They use the middle of the park like an un housed person. I refused to pay or take the tour. I asked for a refund.
