Perfect introduction to St. Louis! - I thoroughly enjoyed this perfect-length tour! Jim was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing history, facts, and local lore with ease and humor. I appreciated the range of interests he covered, from baseball to history to art to architecture. His tour gave me a terrific overview of this new-to-me city, and I look forward to re-visiting several spots. The tram ride and views from the Arch were a perfect end to the afternoon, and I definitely plan to go back and check out the exhibits in the museum that Jim recommended. What a wonderful welcome to St. Louis! Thank you!

Lovely end cap to our midwest girls trip - Our last leg from Branson to St Louis was 4 hours which meant leaving Branson at 8:30 central would put us in St Louis just in time for lunch. We parked close by in the city parking at 200 N Broadway. We strolled over a block & had a lovely lunch at UKraft then met up with Jim Davis at The Runner statue in Kiener Plaza. The communication for our booking started shortly after booking. This helped us know when & where to meet & what to expect. These instructions were exceptionally clear. We also then had a direct way to converse with our guide should issues arise. The tour lasted approximately two hours. We enjoyed the historical insight that Jim provided , as well as modern additions in recent years. Busch Stadium was cool to see more clearly without a sea of people on game day. I especially loved the history of Drury Inn & fur trading. The bronze statue of Dred & Harriet Scott at the old courthouse is stunning. You could spend a whole tour on that historical case alone. Jim gave us pointers for staying in the city, game day spots, & pointers that we wouldn’t have known without his expertise. I highly recommend his tour near the beginning of your stay in St Louis!

Walking, Talking and Taking Pictures - Roger did a great job! He was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. I highly recommend this tour if you like walking around and seeing the sights and sounds of St. Louis. From Freedom Plaza to the Arch with St. Louis Blues and Cardinals Baseball talk in between; it is certainly worth your time. You may even have a hawk join the tour! Thumbs up for the toasted ravioli, too! Thanks again!!

A great history of St. Louis - What a great tour! Our guide, Trey, did an awesome job of telling us the history of St. Louis as well as the history of the Old Courthouse, which is now part of the Gateway Arch National Park. He showed us around the grounds of the National Park complex and escorted us into the Arch to show us how to access the rail cars to the top of the Arch. The museum beneath the Arch has a wealth of information about the founding of St. Louis and the westward expansion. If you have 2 or 3 hours to spend and are able to stand and walk to explore, this is a great experience. Perfect for teenaged children.

Great Way to be Introduced to the City - This is a great walking tour but be aware that at the end you’ll need to climb stairs. A LOT of stairs. I was not able to go into the Arch because of that.

I have my doubts as to this being a legitimate license USA tour company. - My review mirrors most of the 1 star reviews. The address given was not a place of business. It was in the MIDDLE of a public park. There wasn’t even a pop-up, with a table, chairs and no “Company Name” to be seen anywhere. Probably because they do not have a license to be selling services from that location, a public city park. After waiting for 30 minutes and calling TripAdvisor before that. The “guide” located my party of 3 (all of which live in large cities, my husband & I live near Los Angeles). Now days we have Waze & Google Maps, but 30 years ago we had to use a Thomas Guide to get around LA and a state map (that AAA gave us) to make a family road trip. We know how to use & find an address. During our wait we were told another person that most of the “exclusive” tours promised by this company, were actually FREE to everyone! Therefore the exorbitant amount that they charge is unjustified. While on the phone with TripAdvisor an older guy dressed like he had been hiking in the mountains or perhaps he was trying to blend in with the less fortunate people of our country, shows up claiming to be our tour guide. I refuse the service immediately. On the ground of it not being a authorize business with a legal USA business license and address. The “guide” didn’t look professional at all. He proceeded to argue with me. Telling me that the address of the city park is a real address. That may be, but it’s not a business address. I ran my own company. Missouri may be a different state but it too requires that you have a physical address. Later sending my personal cell phone unkind text messages. I grew tired of his harassing texts, so I blocked him. I immediately told my credit card company to put that card on hold. Later that day, I emailed the company and TripAdvisor to relay my story as I have forthwith. They agreed to return all except $11 and some change for state taxes. Which I agreed to.
