Fun treasure hunt for the family - Tons of sea glass to pick up and treasure hunt. Worth the visit to “Sea Glass Beach.” Definitely off the beaten path. Don’t let the reviews about steep/rough hike deter you. It’s not handicap accessible, but if you are able bodied and have relatively decent balance, you’ll be fine. The suggestion to wear shoes/sandals with back straps is a good one. Bring something to collect your sea glass finds in. Overall great excursion experience and rec for families (our kids are 13 and 15). There was one other family on the beach with us at the same time-they had much younger children (approx 3-8 yrs) and seemed to also be enjoying their visit.

Fun, Sea Glass Beach Expedition - Rasheed was a very prompt, friendly and helpful guide! I believe our driver's name was Wally, he was also very pleasant and good driver! Recommend this company without hesitation! It was a fun outing. My wife and another friend who love sea glass were thrilled! I would not recommend this outing for anyone not physically fit or with any mobility issues. The descent to and ascent from the beach is not highly improved or maintained. It is public property.

Great beach for sea glass - After reading other reviews I kinda knew what to expect. Our guide Cherece was amazing. It is a small strip of black sand beach and the trail down is challenging. Wear shoes or sandals with backs for sure. There wasn't as much sea glass as previous weeks our guide told us, but my sister and I found plenty. We enjoyed a few refreshments on the beach on a small beach blanket I had brought (no chairs or umbrellas here). We definitely didn't need 3 hours here, and our guide was kind enough to take us to another beach on the island and show us some beautiful parts on the island along the way.

Sea glass beach…maybe try to do it on your own - We met our driver Garbre right outside the cruise terminal. Along the way to this beach he gave us some St Kitts info. If you are a sea glass lover this is a must do! But don’t let the name of the activity fool you…it is a small black sand strip of beach with an abundance of sea glass. It’s not for lounging or swimming. We spent about 30 minutes there and then our driver took us to a nearby beach to lounge and swim. Now pay attention to this… to get down to the beach it’s a bit of a hike. WEAR SNEAKERS! We went Down a steep hill, where it’s dirt and a bit slippery. There is a rope to hold on to and our guide helped me. Again, if you love sea glass do visit this beach.

Would give 5 stars for... - Would give 5 stars for the beach and the sea glass, 1 star for the trail down to the beach. Pretty steep and not well maintained

Tour operator cancelled with no notice - Don’t book. Tour operator cancelled at last minute. They did offer another option but that did not appeal to us. We picked this excursion several months in advance. The tour offered was not even close to what we would have wanted.

No go - Tour cancelled on us less than 24 hours in advance with reason of us being the only ones who booked the excursion. Couldn’t pick a different excursion as we were on a cruise ship and did not have wifi to find out until day of that it was cancelled. Area did not feel safe to explore further.

Don’t waste your money! - What was sold and what was delivered are totally different! First it was difficult to identify who we were supposed to meet. There was not a provider name listed in the details. I received a text that Danny would meet us in front of the casino but Danny didn’t have a sign or anything to direct us. Then it says Bottle water provided but it wasn’t and alcoholic beverages provided -Not at all, and an air conditioned vehicle- probably not, the driver had the windows rolled down Lunch at your cost leaves you to assume there would be a place to purchase lunch. This is about 50 or 60 yards of deserted beach. There is sea glass but that’s it. Not a single chair to sit in or any type of facility to purchase any food or beverage. When our driver returned to pick us up it was in a compact car not even the same van with the windows rolled down; so 3 full size adults had to squeeze in the back seat. Also it does state it’s not handicap accessible, well that’s an understatement. The driver pulls into a small field. Beware of the cow patties and I mean that literally then it’s a steep walk down what would probably equate to 2 flights of stairs. There are old tires filled with dirt to create steps and a rope tied to sticks that could maybe be used as a hand rail. Very overgrown rough path. You’re definitely not going to want to spend 2 hours here, perhaps a 30 minute stop including the steep climb down and back up again. Very disappointed in Viatour for this one!! We were charged over $100 for a 6 minute ride to a beach where you can even swim-shame on you Viatour!
