Great experience. Elvis... - Great experience. Elvis our driver and tour guide was excellent and accommodating. Had a nice drive and tour. Ended up at the beach for a few hours, caught some sun. And Elvis was on time to head back to the ship.

I’ll be back again! - Cockleshell Beach excursion was excellent! We booked this during our stop from the Icon of the Seas. Our driver Elvis arrived at the port on time. He was very informative of the island and made a stop for a scenic photo. When we arrived at the beach, he gave us 4 cold beers and offered water and sodas. We asked that he pick us up at 1pm and he was back on time. At Cockleshell beach they have chairs and umbrellas but they are reserved for the folks booked through the ship. We were able to get 2 chairs and an umbrella for $20 because we were there before the crowd arrived. I recommend you arrived extra early to be able to get one (and be extra polite), otherwise you may not get one. This was a very seamless experience. 10/10 recommend! Not to mention, it’s a lot less than what the ship was charging!

Beautiful beach - Beautiful beach. Restaurants eat each end to get food and drinks and use the restroom. $20 to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella. Spice Mill restaurant has good facilities. View of Nevis can’t be beat. There is a ferry to Nevis from the beach. Would absolutely go to this beach again. Tour guide was excellent. Provided water, soda, and beer for the drive.

Well worth the money! - Had an amazing trip with Elvis W. He took us from the cruise port to Cockleshell beach with a stop at Timothy Hill on the way. He told us all about the island on our drive and made sure to point out points of interest and wildlife along the way. We were able to see a monkey and a mongoose. Water, cold beer, and soda were available to drink and take to the beach. He was on time for all pickup and drop offs and had us back in plenty of time to shop before embarkation . Would definitely go with him again on any return trips!

Nice relaxing excursion - Two beaches to choose from. Food and drinks were great at both. The drive there is really beautiful.

Worth every penny!!! Amazing value for low-key beach excursion!! - It was a low-key trip across the island where we stopped at two scenic overlooks before being dropped off and later picked up from the beach. Very long drive. Water and sprite provided in van. I’m serious when I say it was the price of an uber, but with more personable and personal service. The beach was amazing! My kids swam with wild foot-long stingrays, and picked up live giant conch from the shallows! Local beer was 2 for $5! Virgin Daiquiris for the kids were $6. Just wear sunscreen!!! Also, the beach is free but the chairs and umbrellas are not. Locally run. For me it was $5 per chair and $10 per umbrella so for me and my 3 kids it added $40 - super cheap, and saved us 1000 times over for a 4 hour beach outing. Locals will try to braid your hair or give massages - maybe sell you junk they bought at an inland gift shop at a significant mark up - but they are friendly and accept a “no thank you” with grace. 6 stars out of 5 for value. I only gave 4 stars out of 5 because there was no information given about the island (or talking) by our driver, or info given about how to rent umbrellas, or what time restaurants/beach bars open. All of that was quickly learned by the employees of the beach restaurant where we were dropped off. Regardless I could not recommend the excursion more as a simple “beach day” with family.

Elvis is a great guide! - Elvis was an excellent tour guide and had a lot of great information about the island. The island is beautiful and it was nice to be able to see some of it. The beach however was not at all what I expected. No fault of Elvis at all. I just thought the beach was overcrowded and very hard to enjoy. It felt like we were packed in like sardines. Not an issue paying for beach chairs and umbrellas but they were old and broken. Overall I enjoyed our time with Elvis but did not enjoy the beach. I should also mention there were 4 ships in port this day which could have caused the overcrowding.

Ride with Elvis - Our driver Elvis Williams was there to take us to the beach and was early picking us up to bring us back. A lot of ships were in town so we were a bit worried about getting to the ship as scheduled ... Not a problem.

Awesome trip Elvis was... - Awesome trip Elvis was great 👍 the beach is ok a little rocky but fun. Very small waves which was nice food onsite and drinks.

Ok - The beach was nice just churned up from Hurricane Erin lots of jelly fish bites The umbrellas were made from tarps that were shedding aesthetically not a nice looking facility. Staff nice driver great . We’ll never go back to Cockleshell beach . Needs remodeled for sure! Reminded me of Mexico…. Unkept
