Amazing Tour - Puffins, Seals, Stories - Had an amazing time with Elias. Saw puffins, seals, birds and more. Loved the stories told by Elias. This is a must do in Faroe Islands.

Beautiful day out on the Atlantic! - We had an amazing day out on the Atlantic with Elias! He was both knowledgeable & personable in sharing his experiences growing up on the Faroe Islands. We were also able to see some puffins flying around & capture a few pictures of these beautiful birds. The rock formations and waterfall are also stunning! We most definitely recommend this boat tour!!

Great fun with lots of puffins! - What a wonderful experience... the Captain provided a great tour around the sea stacks. We saw lots of puffins both on the cliffs and floating in the waves. This was one of the best activities that we did while visiting the Faroes.

Amazing scenery, good tour - Really enjoyed seeing puffins and the sea stacks in evening light. Great scenery. On our evening, the waves were too choppy to get very close to the cliffs so we had to see puffins from afar but we saw them several times. Our pilot also had to deal with a boat issue caused by another tourist hiring a switch they shouldn't but all was well. I appreciated that we all had floatation devices just in case. Good information and puffin spotting from the pilot! Tips: Bring warm clothes and take motion sickness medication if you're susceptible to that as I am. The boat had fold down seats in the back and a cabin but it was full in peak tourist season, so not everyone could sit inside. We were good with fleece under windbreaker and hat/gloves.

Incredible tour about puffins and local insights - Our captain was very friendly and told us all the interesting facts about the island of Vagar and the surrounding area. He answered every question in great detail and took time for his customers. The small size of the group means there is a very family-like and pleasant atmosphere on board. He knows many different places where you can come across seeing puffins. You don't get as close to the puffins as on Mykines, but you see them in their natural environment. It was an incredible experience and the highlight of our vacation so far. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

Surpassed expectations - It was a fabulous trip despite the weather. I had problems getting to the harbor and the tour operator was wonderfully helpful. The views are amazing. The boat owner grew up there and had great stories to tell. It was more than just puffins, but of course, who doesn’t love seeing puffins?

Puffin Tour with Seatravel.fo - taken by 2 Swedes!! - We got to the Puffin Tour easily by taking bus 300 from Torshavn. This fantastic tour was given by our guide Elias, of Seatravel. We toured in a motorboat and had great luck with the weather!! Elias took us as near as he could to the cliffs to view the puffins and many other seabirds, including the Fulmar and the Oystercatcher. Elias provided a very interesting commentary which included some tales from his childhood, which he spent in the coastal areas. He has an amazing knowledge of the geography and history of the islands. He was always on hand to answer any questions that we had and took us to the places along the coast that some in our group had requested to visit. Elias speaks a mix of the scandinavian languages and also speaks excellent English. I highly recommend this tour for youths & adults, there were no young children in our group so it's hard to comment about it being suitable for them.

Good puffins experience - Everything was perfect. We made a combined tour and we enjoyed it very much. The captain of the boat was a kind and professional guy. He gave us plenty of information and explanations as well. Thank you for that perfect day

The boat trip was fun,... - The boat trip was fun, and I liked having a small number of people. It was lovely to see some of the Faroe Islands from the water. Unfortunately we didn't see any puffins, but it was still fun. The company just needs to be a little clearer on their location - there was a sign to the dock, but after that I only found the right boat because others pointed it out. Not a sticking point, though.

Beautiful views with some puffins - The original Puffin Safari Boat Tour we booked was cancelled as there were not enough people (there were just two of us). This was a shame as the weather looked really nice that evening. Fortunately we were offered another option (next day) but this meant we went to Mykinos before Puffin Safari, it would have been much better the other way around as we saw many more puffins and much closer during the trip to Mykinos. We were asked by email by the tour organizers what drinks we wanted as they were included in the price, we asked for coffee, this was never offered on the boat, but on the website drinks are promised. At the same time there was only one person operating the boat so it was hard to imagine how he was supposed to make drinks as well. We were joined by 5 other people so there were 7 customers on the boat, this meant that it was crowded on the deck and two of the passengers (including one of us) were inside. While you could still see the beautiful views and some puffins it was hard to take any photos. Most people saw a seal, which was really exciting. The guide/boat master was very nice and the commentary was interesting.
