Great safari - We booked a half day, morning safari. Our driver, Kasun was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and gave us a great tour around Yala park. We saw Leopard, elephants, a wild boar, water buffalo, crocodiles, deer, elk, a mongoose, various lizards and many bird species. What a great private mini safari in a comfortable jeep. Can’t recommend this enough.

Great half day safari, excellent value. - Great communication, on time collection from our Hotel. Our driver, Kasun, was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and took his time stopping frequently for us to see everything unlike a lot of other jeeps that seemed to race around, we were often overtaken. We saw leopard, elephants, mongoose, water buffalo, spotted dear, elk, various lizards, crocodiles and far too many different birds to mention. Jeep was comfortable. Half day. £70 private tour. All round very highly recommended.

Our full-day experience with Yala Shenu Safari was easily the highlight of our trip! - We were incredibly lucky to see a leopard at close range! We also spotted a very special bird and a wide variety of other wildlife throughout the day. Our driver, Kasun, was amazing. He is an expert spotter and knew exactly where to go to find the animals while keeping us informed. The jeep was very comfortable, which is essential when you're spending the whole day out in the park. A massive thank you to Shehan for organizing everything. The team also provides taxi services, and Shehan personally dropped us off in Ella immediately after our safari ended.

Perfect from start to finish - Our safari experience with Yala Shenu was perfect from start to finish. Communication was clear, they came to pick us up on time, the jeep was super comfy. We went for the full-day tour and wondered if it might not be too long, but if you've got the time: go for it. Afternoon is supposed to be slower in Yala, but we ended up seeing as many (if not more) animals in the afternoon. This was greatly helped by our driver and guide Kasun, who was super knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure that we didn't miss any animal sightings. We even got to see a leopard! Thank you for everything, we had an amazing time!

We saw a leopard :) - We saw a leopard upon entering Yala and lots of elephants and other wild life. The driver was on time and went out of his way to find animals. It was very bumpy and dusty which is to be expected. The vehicle was not the most comfortable but overall we had a good experience and felt very fortunate to have seen a leopard as we heard others were not so lucky. Yala is a beautiful park and very different from the safaris we have done in Africa.

Visit to Yala - An early start for a fab day. We had two jeeps for our party of 8. The drivers were great at ensuring that we saw as much wildlife as possible as possible. Sadly, the leopards were elusive on the day when we visited but that didn’t detract from our visit. The landscape and scenery were spectacular.

Amazing game drive with leopard sighting! - We did the afternoon game drive. Kasun was our tour guide and he was amazing and very knowlegeble about the animals. He didn't follow the crowds but knew precisely were to go, we even saw a leopard!

Day in Yala - We had a wonderful day at Yala National Park. Our guide, Kasun, was amazing — he spoke excellent English, had an incredibly sharp eye, and thanks to him we saw so many animals. He gave very clear and interesting explanations and patiently answered all of our questions. We were also very lucky to spot a leopard! Thank you, Kasun, for such an unforgettable day. We highly recommend this tour! ❤️
