Entry to the park is at 6:00 AM, an optimal time for wildlife observation, with excellent opportunities to see Wilpattu’s famous leopards, as well as elephants, sloth bears, deer, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy a packed breakfast around 7:30 AM at a secure rest area within the park (timing is flexible to suit your preference). Continue to explore Wilpattu’s distinctive landscape of lakes, dense forests, and coastal wilderness.
At 12:30 PM, take a break for lunch amidst nature (timing is flexible). Afterward, continue the afternoon safari, exploring new trails to maximize wildlife sightings.
