what a great day! - we had a great day with lahiru prasad (whatsapp: +94762726799) and would totally recommend it. we got his contact via a friend and could book with him easily. everything was well organised. felt very welcome during the whole day. the safari, jeep and driver were great!

Unforgettable experience! - This was one of the highlights of our time in Sri Lanka. A truly wonderful experience that I cannot recommend enough. We saw 30+ elephants buffalos and so many different birds. Our guide (Lahiru Prasad) was super knowledgeable and had a very good eye spotting wildlife. Would recommend booking him if you want a good quality private tour in Udawalawe national park. We found his contact (+94762726799) on the official website of the park.

Great experience - Saw heaps of elephants and even caught a glimpse of a leopard. Was nice to be able to book everything online. We got there early and had a meal at the pick up point restaurant and the rice and curry was delicious

1. Amazing Safari in Udawalawe with a Fantastic Guide ⭐ - We had a truly wonderful trip with Lahiru in Udawalawe National Park. He was very flexible and helped accommodate the needs we had for the day. We had a lovely afternoon safari and saw elephants, crocodiles, peacocks, water buffaloes and more.
He was great at answering all our questions, and we really got a lot out of the experience. He gave us time both to ask questions and to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and he always checked in about when we wanted to move on.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience. Thank you, Lahiru 🙏🏼

Private Safari - We had a private safari with Lahiru. He was a very kind guide. Showed us a lot of animals in the park and gave us as much time to see them as we wanted. Would definitely recommend it.

Safari Guide - We booked a safari with Lahiru Prasad (+94 76 272 6799€ on WhatsApp) for a very large group of 10 people. He was very responsive, he picked us up from our hotel directly and we spent a great half day at the park. Lahiru took the time to give explanations during the different stops, he even made us some very nice pictures with the help of his pair of binoculars. We left late because of ourselves and he offered to extend the lap to catch up. We strongly advise.

Highly recommend Lahiru! - We thoroughly enjoyed our safari experience with Lahiru, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and knew all the best spots! We saw elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, deer and plenty of beautiful birds. He bought us water & snacks which was a nice bonus too. The guide makes the difference! - We booked a private safari tour with a very friendly and professional guide, Lahiru Prasad. From the very beginning, he was extremely responsive and answered all our questions promptly via WhatsApp (+94 76 272 6799).
We met at a convenient location where we could safely park our rental car free of charge. Lahiru arrived on time together with his Jeep driver, who was equally friendly and drove very safely throughout the safari. He always respected the appropriate distance from the elephants we encountered, ensuring that no risks were taken — neither for us nor for the animals.
Lahiru shared a wealth of interesting information about the park and its wildlife. He was knowledgeable, approachable, and always happy to answer our questions in detail.
What made the experience truly special was driving through the park without other jeeps directly in front of or behind us. We felt incredibly privileged to observe an elephant family up close in such peaceful surroundings. It was clear that Lahiru knows the park extremely well — including the quieter trails that are less crowded.
I highly recommend visiting this park, especially with a guide like Lahiru. I would also strongly suggest starting early. While 5:15 AM may not sound appealing during the holidays, it is absolutely worth it — that’s when you have the best chance of seeing the most wildlife.
