Memorable experience - We had a fantastic safari through Janaka Safari. The guide we were assigned, Ish, was wonderful. He was punctual, easy to understand and he did everything he could to make sure we got to see some of the rare sights in Yala. Thanks to his persistence and skill, we were able to get to front row seats to see both a leopard and a bear both of which are hard to come by in Yala on a typical day. Ish deserves a big shout out for making the safari as memorable as it was

Great Yala-Safari - We had a wonderful day. Our guide Ish was the perfect guide/driver for the day. In the beginning he asked for our preferences. We saw so many animals (leopards, elephants, buffalos, monkeys…). Ish knows the roads very well and is a very experienced driver. Thank you for making the safari so special for us .

10/10 Yala safari - worth every penny! - A fantastic full day tour in Block 1! Our guide Su was brilliant - he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and had the experience (25 years) and skill to get us to the best spots in time to see loads of amazing wildlife. We spotted 3 leopards, two of which were up-close sightings, and plenty of elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, and mongeese. 10/10 thank you Su!

Spotted 3 leopard sightings thanks to Su! - We had Su as our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing!!! We were able to spot leopards three times over the course of our full day safari thanks to Su’s expertise and careful driving, as well as elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles and so many birds!! Su made sure he got us to the best quiet spots to see the animals throughout the day, with little to no other jeeps around. We had a great breakfast and lunch provided too. Highly recommend this Safari and Su!!!

Very nice experience. Our... - Very nice experience. Our guide Su knew what he was doing, he took us to the right places at the right times. Comfortable jeep that you can easily spend a day in. Seen everything we wanted to see, culminating in a leopard at 15 to 20 meters at the end of the day.

The BEST safari experience with Srimal at Janaka Safari - We had the most incredible safari experience with Janaka today! We were lucky enough to see 3 leopards, as well as elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, birds, monkeys, and so many other amazing animals. Our guide, Srimal, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful of the park rules and wildlife, and made sure we were among the first jeeps to enter the park. He truly went above and beyond for us. After spotting two leopards in trees during the morning, he took us to a completely different area after lunch (away from all the other jeeps), where we had an unforgettable close encounter with a leopard on the ground, with just our jeep in the entire area. We were also celebrating my partner’s birthday, and Srimal made a real effort to make the day special, even surprising us with balloons on the jeep! We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience! Everything we saw was incredible, thanks to Srimal’s expertise and a little bit of luck!

A fantastic day - We had an enthusiastic ranger who knew a lot about every animal and spoke good English. He was determined to choose his own route, which meant we were the first to reach the leopard and the elephants. It was an amazing day!

The best!!!!!! - We had the best experience with our driver Su. He is so knowledgeable and knows the park very well and has a great knowledge of all of the animals and parks across Sri Lanka. Su worked hard to ensure we saw as many animals as possible and showed great respect to the animals and the park. We even saw the beautiful leopard right at the end of our trip. An amazing day, thank you Su!

A superb all-day safari - Our guide Srimal was great and was always with us in the right place at the right time. So we saw the leopard, the bear, the elephants, water buffalo, deer, crocodiles, lizards, and wonderful birds etc. Srimal himself was searching for the animals with infectious enthusiasm and always found something and knew how to tell interesting stories about it (in good English). We were well supplied with food and drink and had a wonderful day. Thank you Srimal and thank you Janaka
