Possibly the best tour in the world! - Possibly the best tour I’ve ever been on…and I’ve travelled a fair bit. Ante was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable, was eager to answer questions and always found the shade for us to stand in! It was a great pace and packed in loads of information. He really made the city come to life and should 100% become a history lecturer. Everyone should do this tour at the start of their visit so they get a full appreciate for the city. Thank you for making our visit to Split extra stunning Ante.

Tour - Slavko was very knowledgable and enthusiastic, teaching the tourist about the castle. He used humour and imagery to help us understand what life would’ve been like so many years ago..

Slovkastic Tour! - A tour of the Palace is useful for those who want to understand the history they are walking through. Slovaka was a fantastic guide and not only knowledgeable but also passionate about the tour and getting to know his guests. This tour does not get you inside locations such as the bell tower or Mausoleum, but gives you insights to help you understand not only what you are seeing, but why it is there. Slovaka will give you solid dining and activity recommendations as well. Overall we loved the tour and what we learned helped us to appreciate the rest of our trip.

Perfect Tour Length for an Introduction and Highlights without a big group tour - This tour was perfect for our family with two teenage boys, it kept their interest and moved at a good pace. It was about 1.5 hours through the entire palace with great insights that we would have completely missed on our own. We walked to the meeting point from our cruise ship, which was about a 15 minute walk and almost a straight shot to get to the palace. But we took a Tuk Tuk back to the ship because our feet were tired and we were hot. Note that there are not many options for restrooms and it would be a good idea to bring a water bottle (they have water fountains all around the palace with fresh clean water).

Interesting, knowledgeable guide and reasonable group size - Tour guide was excellent and informative; really knew his stuff. When we arrived I was concerned that the booked tour group was too large, however I was pleased to see that because of this they’d laid on an extra guide, to create a second group. Full marks.
