A history professor and seasoned local guide has launched an exciting new city tour. While exploring Diocletian’s Palace is wonderful, experiencing the Palace along with Medieval and modern Split is even more rewarding!

Immerse yourself in the history of the Roman Palace and embark on a journey through the heart of Split, enriched by the influences of Venice, the Ottomans, and Napoleon. Naturally, this includes Game of Thrones filming locations, fascinating facts, and a touch of local life and legends.

The tour begins at the Riva promenade and travels through the cellars to the main ancient square, offering a stunning view of the Cathedral and medieval palaces. On the way to the Silver & Golden Gates, participants will pass through the narrowest street in the world. Making a wish by touching the toe of the Gregori of Nin statue is a must-do in Split.

After exploring the Palace, the tour continues along the modern main street and square, concluding at the main medieval square. Throughout the walk, participants will receive numerous tips on what to do and where to spend time in Split.
