If you’re booking this tour, make sure to ask for Thabiso — you will not be disappointed. - We’ve taken many tours through Viatour over the years but this stands out as one of the best. We had short stop over in joburg so wanted to see all the key sites and history and thabiso exceeded all expectations. I wish we had more more to spend with him as he Make sure you ask for thasibo when you book. You will not be disappointed.

Visit with ALAIN, SUPER FRENCH GUIDE for the visit of Johannesburg - Thank you Alain for introducing us to the multifaceted city of Johannesburg. We spent the day discovering the history of this city, its people, this country, visiting the different sites of interest of this city. Alain is an exceptional guide, who accompanied us and who captivated us with his many knowledge about Johannesburg and South Africa. 1st day immersion in Johannesburg! What emotions when thanks to Alain, we were able to spend a few hours in the sensitive neighborhood of Soweto! Thank you, Alain! Great Impression of Johannesburg and Soweto - Thabiso was a great host for our Tour through Johannesburg and Soweto. He gave us great insight into South African History and was open to all our questions. We can definitely recommend the tour format. You will be able to make lots of experiences in just a couple of hours - stress free.

Lindela was our excellent guide. - Lindela was our guide and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. Brilliant informative tour. The trip into Soweto was the highlight of the tour. If you are want to do a guided tour in Soweto and Johannesburg do this one.

A fascinating, enjoyable tour - Having just one day to spend in Johannesburg before moving on to our next destination, my husband and I decided to book this tour, and I’m so glad we did. Kgaogelo was an excellent guide, very good company, and provided us with a great deal or information about the history and current times in Johannesburg and Soweto. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, and nothing was too much trouble. In particular we enjoyed to visit to the Soweto Township where we were shown around by one of the residents. A big ‘eye-opener’. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Great Overview Tour with Banele. - We flew in the night before and were looking for something to show us Johannesburg, without much effort on our part, as we were jet lagged and leaving for Kruger the next morning. This was perfect. Our guide, Banele, was upbeat and told us that he would show us “the good, the bad and the ugly”, straight out of a favorite movie. The trip to the “shanty” part of Soweto was incredible and Banele put us at ease about visiting a family’s home there. It was very moving. The only regret is that we wanted more time at the Apartheid Museum.

An Outstanding Experience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Outstanding Experience This excursion was absolutely phenomenal. Thabiso’s passion and deep knowledge made the history come alive in a vibrant, meaningful way. My wife Patricia and I learned so much, and we truly appreciated the care and effort he put into sharing these stories with depth and respect.
