At Turtle Cove, Buck Island National Wildlife Refuge your professional snorkel guide will provide you with all the necessary instruction to use your snorkel gear, and take you along the surface on an unforgettable, fun, and informative marine life adventure. You will swim amongst numerous species of colorful fish, beautiful coral reefs, and green sea turtles. Upon your return, you will be served a snack and drinks from our top-shelf open bar. Your guide will meet you at the WICO/Havensite Cruise Ship Dock, next to Yacht Haven Grande Marina Office. Must arrive 20 minutes prior to departure. Tours are in local time - Atlantic Standard Time.

Excellent! - Capt Joe and Catie were really amazing. Very skilled professionals. I have been on snorkeling excursions all around the world and everything about this was excellent. Worth ever cent.

Great way to explore St. Thomas and see marine wildlife - This was an amazing Experience. I was able to see tons of fish and several turtles. Catie and Fernando were awesome guides. They made sure we felt comfortable and very professional. Captain Joe was awesome as well. Very knowledgeable and helped us spot several turtles. I would definitely recommend booking with them.

Great Day on the Water - This was one of the highlights of our trip in to St. Thomas! The boat and crew were terrific. The snorkeling was fine - not great, but not bad either. The small group allowed for a more personal experience. Highly recommended!

Great snorkel and swim experience in St Thomas - Great half day snorkel and swim experience in St Thomas . The Catie and Joe were awesome. They found us safe fun spots to snorkel and helped us locate everything. It does include light snacks and drinks. All of which were perfect. The gear were clean and well maintained. I would do this again the next time i’m in the area.

My husband and I were... - My husband and I were honeymooning on St. Thomas and booked this excursion because we love snorkeling and boat trips. It did not disappoint! The staff were incredibly friendly, informative, and kind. The group was much smaller than all other boats we saw at the turtle spot. The drinks were great! We saw many turtles, fish, and a ray. Notes: you are not permitted to use spray sunscreen on the boat, and the honeymoon beach they take you to is not the famous one on St. John.

Wonderful snorkeling trip!! - Our snorkeling trip couldn’t have been better! We had a terrific time! The boat was beautiful and perfect for our day. The crew Captain Joe and helper Kate were wonderful. Helpful, patient, kind, informative, great teachers, all around terrific

Outstanding trip! - This excursion was absolutely wonderful! The meet up location was convenient to the port/ship. Cate and Captain Morgan were very helpful and super nice. The locations they took us to were beautiful. We saw many fish and sea turtles. They provided us with a healthy delicious snack and tropical tasty drinks after the snorkel! All of the snorkel gear was in good condition and fit perfectly. I could not recommend them more. I cannot wait to go back to St. Thomas and book with them again.

Had the best time and would love to do it again! - On January 6, 2026 we had the pleasure of hanging out for a 1/2 day turtle snorkel. We took my kids (9 & 13) and my parents (in their 70's). Katie and Joe were both amazing. We learned some interesting facts about local wildlife and it was easy to see that they both love their work. We went to two different locations. The first stop was super busy with other boats also doing snorkeling tours. They planned it just right that we arrived right as all the big groups left and we had the spot to ourselves. After the first spot they had a platter of fruit and a platter of cut veggies to snack on as well as tons of drink choices. Both spots were great and we got to see turtles, fish and my son saw a stingray I think. My parents weren't interested in snorkeling so they just had a relaxing few hours on the boat. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. They were super communicative, easy to work with and we loved that it wasn't a large group. Thanks for the memories !!!

Wrong tour, fun time - At the right time, in the right place (or very close to it) I boarded a catamaran. I showed the staff the TripAdvisor listing for the trip and they said I was in the right place. They did a head count instead of checking tickets, and it came out right. We motored to a bay where several other vessels were moored (including the one I should have been on?) and went snorkeling. Not a whole lot to see—some lovely fish and a ray—no sea turtles. Then went to a beach where people swam. Open bar, nice staff, equipment worked fine. I later realized that the company I was actually signed up with had sent multiple messages and finally left without me. I’m pretty sure I would have had the same experience with them, so no damage done. I appreciate their efforts to get in touch with me. Obviously, departure site could have been clearer.
