had a great time due to cheerful crew and great guides, Andrew's daily lectures rounded everything up thank you Professor for hosting us the last evening.still hoping to get some of your pictures though only regret I have not having seen the rest of the river due to persistent drought carry on boys and girl(s), hope many kids will get to do this run with you to ignite the zest for outdoor life

David, Loved you guys and gave a 5 star rating based on personalities and effort. But I want to offer a couple of specific safety concerns I had during the trip. The first was when you guides spotted Max's bottle floating down the river and raced with abandon to get it. Molly slipped on the wet bank and fell hard, it looked hard enough to hurt her and would have certainly hurt me. Later she had shoulder issues and I hope she is OK. The second was when the large shade was put up using the raft oar. It looked sketchy to me so I added a couple of rocks to secure the base, thinking the afternoon up canyon winds could blow it down. When a gusty wind hit the thing got dangerous and the oar could have done real harm. Talk to the guides about situational awareness with changing conditions and the importance of remaining cautious and restrained in the outdoors. I am passing this on to Vali so she can respond as well. I want to hike Slickhorn canyon next spring and will put together a small party. Look at your schedule and think about the best time weather wise March-April and let me know your thoughts.

The trip organizers did an excellent job of adjusting the schedule to accommodate for low water levels. The trip was rich with experiences on and off the river including interpretive sessions by Andrew Guilford and unlimited opportunity to interact with him. The boat persons were professional, efficient and very cheerful: they felt like family within a few hours of starting.
