You will meet your guide at the NORTH END OF THE PARKING LOT of Moqui Cave. From there, we will caravan into the adjacent canyon, Cave Lakes Canyon where you will be shuttled to the Via Ferrata start.

Fun Via Ferrato & Rappel in Pink Coral Dunes Park - A fun day of adventure in Pink Coral Dunes state park with Roam! Rode in a side-by-side ATV through the pink dunes to a big rock outcrop where Roam has established a via ferrato. The climb was about 150 feet in two pitches, all very well done and sufficiently scary while very safe - in harnesses , clipped in, with helmets and gloves. Then the finale: a ~140 foot rappel down a rock face. Wow that was intense! All along the way our guides did a wonderful job of prepping us and shepherding us through such an intense experience, making us feel safe. Bravo! The ride back was super fun-our guide Keith took us the long way back through the dunes, treating us to some exhilarating berms and drops in the ATV.. Really fun! Highly recommended for anyone traveling through southern Utah looking for a unique experience.

A must do! - This was our second time doing the via ferrata with ROAM, this time we brought friends. It was such an amazing experience! The repels were absolutely thrilling! Our guide Tyler helped to build the course and shared some stories. It is a nice way to enjoy a safe adventure!

Just book this tour!!! - Just do this!!! It’s a great way to enjoy the beauty out here with the adrenaline rush. I’m not going to lie some parts pushed me to do something way out of my comfort zone. This was a fun yet challenging experience! My family of four it was our first time doing the via ferrata and nailed it! My friend who has a fear of heights did great! Hands down to our guide Keith he was able to make us push forward and we all did it!!!!

Wyatt and Rappelling Was Fantastic - Wyatt was outstanding and the rappelling was fantastic. We were tested outside of our comfort zone but Wyatt coached us through every step. We learned new skills and had left feeling extremely accomplished.

No experience necessary is a real thing - This might be an important review because I have zero climbing OR rappelling experience. I just like to do hard things, be a little terrified and live to tell the story. Tyler was my guide. He build the Via Ferrata in East Zion and I knew I was in good hands. Roam also let me book a single because my husband is afraid of heights. I'm sure it was because it's a slower time of year but maybe not. Roam was all around awesome for the entire week, so maybe they are just cool like that. I did the 700 ft pitch and the longer rappel down. It was amazing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful sights and exhilarating adventures - We went for my husbands birthday and had Zage as our guide who was awesome. He gave very clear instructions, made safety his top priority and was fun to spend the day with. (He also took really good photos of us). This is a great way to learn about the land and enjoy it while experiencing something new.

Awesome adventure, highly recommend! - I visited ROAM on September 18th, 2024 with my brother and sister-in-law. We did the "Tallest in Utah" Via Ferrata & Rappelling along with a fourth person that was grouped with us. It was absolutely phenomenal!!! I am into this kind of thing so the climbing, harness wear, carabiner usage and rappelling is stuff I have done before. My brother and his wife were brand new to it but that didn't slow them down one bit. Our guide, Ken, provided a few key instructions and then we set off on the 1,000-foot climb, which was done across various sections of the mountain face. After a bit of a hike, we then repelled down 4 sections, totalling about 500 feet (the rest we hiked down between the rapelling sections). The whole thing took us 3 hours and it was a blast! Glad we did the 10 am morning session because in the afternoon, the sun just bakes the side of the mountain during the summer. All in all, would highly recommend this, even if you have zero experience. I plan to come back and do some of their canyoneering trips.
