Parking lots at popular trailheads can fill before 9:00 AM, and the park may temporarily restrict vehicle access for approximately 3–5 hours until congestion decreases.
• IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ZION NATIONAL PARK: From March through November, private vehicles are generally not permitted on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive while the park shuttle is operating. From December through February, private vehicles may be allowed on certain dates when the shuttle is not running. Angels Landing requires a permit obtained through a lottery, so save or download your permit and plan your hike in advance.
