- Moab - Stargazing Moab warmly welcomes you, your family, and friends for an enjoyable evening of stargazing and astronomy beneath the internationally recognized dark skies of Moab, UT.
The experience begins with a brief walk through a scale model of our solar system, where guides will introduce you to our neighboring planets as astronomical twilight begins. Each guest relaxes in their own zero gravity pod, complete with a blanket and binoculars. These pods are designed to conform to your body, eliminating pressure points for a comfortable and effortless view of the starry sky.
Our astronomy guides will deliver a 2-hour program featuring state-of-the-art telescopes and laser pointers to navigate the constellations and night sky objects. Guests will also enjoy an up-close view of celestial wonders such as galaxies, nebulae, and clusters through our powerful telescopes.
Hot beverages, including hot chocolate, coffee, and tea, are also provided.

Our guides are both experienced and knowledgeable, ready to lead you on an exploration of the night sky. Discover how to locate north, as well as our seasonal triangles, constellations, and planets. With the aid of high-powered laser pointers, we offer an engaging and educational experience, sharing stories about ancient civilizations, Greek mythology, and the development of the Cosmos.
Our telescopes are user-friendly, operated with a keypad, and as simple to use as sending a text message. They come pre-programmed with our nightly object list. By pressing a single button on the keypad, the telescope will move to the next object.
We frequently observe a variety of celestial objects, including Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Double and Binary Stars, Planets, Earth’s Moon, Globular Clusters, Comets, and more. Depending on the timing, the International Space Station (ISS) and Starlink trains may also be visible passing overhead.
