Highlights

Sugar Knoll - Sugar Knoll is the most prominent feature in the area. Settlers thought it looked like a pile of sugar when it is covered in snow. It is a sister mountain to Checkerboard Mesa in Zion Nation Park. We will spend the majority of the time rappelling the bottom half of Ladder Canyon right next to Sugar Knoll.

If you’re nervous/hesitating, read this! - Something like this is very much outside of my comfort zone. My friend really wanted to do it so I agreed. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel safe. Honestly the hardest part was the short/steep hike up to get to the slot canyon, but once that’s over nothing is too physically exerting. You start with a very short repel down and build your way up to a tall one (we did 4 repels total). I was genuinely surprised at how safe I felt and how much fun I had. Guides took really cool photos of us too. If you’re on the fence, I promise you it’s worth doing!

We went into the slot canyons and rappelled down multiple drops and climbed on walls. - The sights to see were amazing. The rappelling was the best I have ever experienced. One of the favorite experiences I have ever done.

Great family fun! - Tyler and Ana were great guides for our family. We took a fun UTV ride to the canyon, hiked up the hill and we were ready to go. Pointed out some amazing fossils. The rappelling started out nice and easy and worked to a longer rappel. We had a great time and felt very safe.

It was a great experience... - It was a great experience all around. Our guides were friendly, encouraging, and helpful. On the way up to start the rappelling, there is a portion that is a challenge mentally because of the ledge, but the guys gave tips and stayed positive as we went across. If you’re not accustomed to adventures like this, it will push you out of yoir comfort zone, but that's what makes it such an amazing experience.

Had a blast - Canyoneering was a blast. Johnny was very informative and allowed us to move at our own pace. Exploring the slot canyons was also fantastic. Would highly recommend this for beginners with no canyoneering experience!

Great experience! - This was our second excursion with Roam and it was amazing again! We were a group of 8, which included 7 to 12 year olds plus adults. We had a few in our crew that were nervous to do this tour but after they experience that we’re so happy they did it. We all loved the our experience. Johnny and Jack were super friendly and made us all feel safe. They were articulate with instructions and super supportive. We had a blast!! Would highly recommend it!!

Unique and fun adventure! - Kyle was the best! So knowledgeable, fun and helpful. I would highly recommend him and the next time we will do a longer and more difficult one as I had done the 4 hour one a few years ago.
