• Peekaboo Gulch - This slot canyon is renowned for its final 100 meters before meeting the Dry Fork of Coyote Gulch. Here, the ravine delves deeper into the sandstone, featuring a series of interconnected potholes, intricate swirls, rock fins, and several arches. These various openings, along with numerous corners and crevices, contribute to the canyon’s intriguing name. The hike covers a total of 5 miles, with 1.5 miles to and from the slot canyons and approximately 0.5 miles within each canyon.
• Spooky Gulch - With a width of just 10 inches at certain points, Spooky Gulch lives up to its name. Adventurers can navigate nearly halfway through before encountering the first of two climbs, so feel free to squeeze through as far as you comfortably can.

A must-see on most Southern Utah bucket lists is the beloved combination of Peek-a-Boo and Spooky Slot Canyons. These stunning hikes, situated in the Dry Fork area of the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, offer an exhilarating loop that can be completed in a single afternoon of adventure. Once inside, enjoy a breathtaking journey through a scenic paradise of red and purple rock formations, arches, and narrow slot canyons.

The tour covers approximately 5 miles of hiking and is rated as moderate, with some uphill and downhill sections.

Starting from the trailhead, the group will hike through Dry Fork Wash, following the creek wash until reaching the entrance of Peek-a-Boo. After exploring Peek-a-Boo, the hike continues to the entrance of Spooky Gulch. A gentle scramble down a rock face leads into the canyon, which soon narrows, providing an exciting challenge as participants navigate this enjoyable canyon.

Punctuality is crucial; if anyone is more than 15 minutes late, the group will proceed without them.
