AMAZING NAVAJO NATION TOUR - What an amazing experience! Make sure to bring your park admission ticket with you on the tour. The staff was knowledgable and personable, which enhanced the experience. We were immersed in Navajo environments and it was beautiful and relaxing. Breathtaking views that only a select few can experience. I will book again.

Fascinating morning tour of Monument Valley - Booked via Viator, but the provider was Monument Valley Safari. We chose this tour as it conveniently started at 8am (we were staying at the View Hotel), so could be done before the heat of the day, plus it seemed to one of the best re seeing more rock formations than many (it did not include a rug weaving demonstration, although I am sure that would be good). Bobby, our Navajo guide, knew the area well and was very informative. He seemed to get us to the main locations just before any other tour group, so we had the beautiful rocks to ourselves. He was also good re how to get unique photos. Loved his flute playing.

Magnificent monuments - This tour was simply magnificent! Our tour guide, Bobby, was soft-spoken yet extremely knowledgeable. He even played his American Indian flute (which we loved!) and it gave us a feel for how things once were there in the midst of the monuments. Very satisfied and happy we took this tour.

Great way to see Monument Valley - Be aware, if you have lower back problems this can be a bit bumpy at times. Sit in front or middle of vehicle. Very scenic and hassle free with lots of information.

A fantastic tour, but make sure you arrive early! - We had booked the 4.30 pm tour and arrived at the park entrance around 4 pm. Unfortunately, the queue of cars wasn’t moving, as there was only one person managing arrivals. I would therefore recommend arriving at least 45 minutes early to avoid any stress. We finally arrived at the meeting point at 4.35 pm, feeling a little worried that our guide might have already left. There was a moment of confusion, but we eventually managed to join a group, and the rest of the experience was very enjoyable. We spent three wonderful hours in Monument Valley with our guide. The scenery was breathtaking and we were able to take some magnificent photos. I highly recommend hiring a guide: they take you into the backcountry, where we saw wild horses and witnessed a traditional song. However, it’s worth noting that the guide doesn’t stop at every "point". Ours made about five/six stops. Tip: try to get a seat at the front of the vehicle to avoid having your view obstructed.
