Outstanding Guide and Tour - We had an outstanding afternoon with our Guide Larry. He was witty, knowledgeable and a great storyteller. Larry took photos for us all and knew how to get the best shots. This is an off road tour in an open vehicle, so be prepared for some bumps and dust, but at no time were we uncomfortable. Larry took great care with a step out of the vehicle for my husband who uses a cane and had it ready at each stop. We had several performances along the way with Larry playing a flute. Fantastic natural scenery!

Can't miss Monument Valley experince. - If you visit Monument Valley, I STRONGLY recommend that you take this tour. You will see some amazing things that you would otherwise miss. Our Guide Comie was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour included sites of ancient cliff dwellers, 2000 year old petroglyphs carved into rock walls, a session with a Navajo story teller who discussed aspects of Navajo culture (super interesting) and some up-close visits to some amazing rock formations. Had I not booked this tour I would have missed all of this. Plus there were not a line of cars ahead of us or other people around.

Amazing and Breathtaking - We had an amazing visit to Monument Valley. Our guide, Larry, did a fantastic job and took us to some incredible sites. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us about the history and customs of the Navajo and other people. He even played his flute at The Big Hogan and it was enchanting. I highly recommend this tour and if you can ask for Larry.

Take a tour, don’t drive yourself - Larry our guide was a wonderful source of information about Navajo culture and history. He played the Indian flute for us at one of the sites we visited …just magical. The road/trail seemed very tough on private vehicles.Glad I didn’t drive myself. The tour was a bit dusty but that can’t be helped

Great tour of Monument Valley with an amazing guide - This tour was so amazing. Especially our guide Travis. The terrain was rough and bumpy, Travis did his best to minimize the bumps, knowing where he could speed up and slow down. He also sang a Navaho song while playing a drum in this valley that had incredible echoes. It was so amazing. At the next stop we learned he was a professional musician, as am I. As we were talking music he said hold on, you will like this. He then got from the truck a double flute. He played an absolutely beautiful Navaho song on it. We asked him if other tour guides give this kind of experience or were we just lucky. He said we were lucky. I would highly recommend this tour company, and I would also ask for Travis.

Great tour - We are extremely happy we chose to take this tour rather than the self guided drive. Our guide showed us so many things in the back country (not accessible to the general public) we would have missed. He told personal stories about his family and culture. We learned a lot and highly recommend the tour.

a little disappointed - The guide takes us to places that are not open to unguided tours; however, the weaving demonstration is optional and comes at the expense of the rest of the tour. The guide asks the group to choose between these 2 options (weaving or continuing to explore the valley) and the choice is made according to the majority vote. We learned 2-3 things about Navajo culture, but nothing transcendent. To sum up: we had a great time but expensive for what it is.
