This tour should be at the top of the list of things to do in Monument Valley! - Unsurpassed scenery! Our Navajo guide Wayne was fantastic! His knowledge of the valley (having lived there most his life) and his stories were informative and entertaining. Having the opportunity to go off the normal tour route to the back country was wonderful! I highly recommend this tour.

Well worth it - The tour was amazing, our guide was very friendly and interesting to talk too, there was more to see than I thought. Two and a half hours flew by, wish we'd taken a longer tour or done the sunset one.

We love Stanley! - Our guide was amazing. We saw much and learned a great deal of Navajo history. One of the biggest surprises was that Stanley, our guide, went to school with my husband, so that made it even more fun . Summed up best by our 8 yr old grandson - “The best Thursday of my life!”

Monument Valley Tour - Monument Valley was even more impressive in person than I had seen in pictures. Seeing it at sunset was even more impressive. Our guide enhanced the experience with his knowledge of the area and the best places to view the sites.

Not to be missed! - Got to pose for a picture on top of a beautiful horse in the middle of John Ford country. The whole experience was fabulous but that was the highlight for me.

Awesome experience and really nice people - A great meeting with our guide Chandler who was very kind and gave us little bursts of speed which we loved. We were on an organized trip and had the chance to eat one of their dishes served by themselves. And what a magnificent landscape!!!

Essential tour - We book this tour in December to be safe. As scheduled, we show up at the meeting point at 9.00 (8.50 to do everything calmly) and immediately receive the first very welcome surprise: we are alone! A pick-up and a guide, 3 hours just for the two of us! It goes without saying that Monument Valley is magnificent, a unique spectacle! But beyond what you see in a thousand magazines and websites there is more... much more... much more! And with this guided tour we savored everything in depth, we experienced every detail, we fully appreciated every point of view, we enjoyed every glimpse. The guide, Benny, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, told us many details and ancient stories and legends that would otherwise have been almost impossible to know. In addition to the valley and the main roads, we traveled along many secondary roads, accessible only to tours and which allowed us to visit places that would have been impossible to access independently. Without this tour we would have enjoyed 50% of the beauty of the magnificent Monument Valley. Advice: - Even if the price is high, it is a tour that everyone absolutely must do, unknown and wonderful places! (See photo) - Book the tour before leaving, we were lucky to be alone, but this is not always the case - In the summer months the heat is scorching, hats and water bottles are a must - Don't forget that we are in the desert, snakes, scorpions and spiders are at home - Tipping the guide is strongly recommended, but it is still money well spent. - Make sure you have plenty of smartphone or camera memory!
