• Longbow Arch Trailhead - Located just outside Moab, Bow & Arrow Canyon offers a blend of desert landscapes and interactive adventure. This half-day journey spans approximately 3 miles through open canyon areas, featuring petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, and stunning views of the La Sal Mountains.

After a brief hike to Longbow Arch, participants will familiarize themselves with the equipment and review the basics of rappelling before tackling a series of four rappels, including an exhilarating free-hanging descent of over 100 feet.

No previous experience is necessary. Each rappel is equipped with clear instructions and guide-managed backup systems, allowing participants to concentrate on movement and savor the experience.

The route involves uneven terrain, light scrambling, and a consistent hiking pace. A reasonable level of fitness is advised, but most first-time canyoneers perform well.
