We recommend! Great for Newbies - It was our first time canyoneering, and we had a great time. You do 2 descends combined with a few miles of hiking. Nate was our guide and he was a great teacher and we had a fun time with him!

Amazing Adventure - Rock of Ages - We had a great experience with Red River Adventures and our guide Jeff. Our family of 4 (kids ages 24 & 25) did the Rock of Ages adventure. It was a beautiful 5 mile hike with 3 amazing rappels. We really felt like we really got out in the wilderness and the beauty of Moab. We did not encounter any other humans the entire time. Jeff was super nice and cool. He made us feel very comfortable with the rappels. I'd highly recommend this adventure and Red River Adventures.

Highly suggest if you are thinking about doing it! - We did the Bow and Arrow Canyon Canyoneer Adventure. Nate was a great guide, very patient with two of us repelling for the first time. Felt as safe as one could being nervous going off 115ft repel. Would definitely recommend.

Great adventure! - A friend recommended the Bow and Arrow hike and canyoneering experience. I have to admit I was nervous but booked our family (2 19 year old DD) none of us had done anything like this. The hike was moderate difficulty but great scenery and lots of knowledge by Cage. Adam definitely added some comic relief. They led us thru 4 rappels. Both guides were attentive and supportive of the group. We highly recommend!

Great excursion - Great day with some hiking in a beautiful area, en route to the rappelling experiences. It was very hot, and the hiking did involve some tricky sections. Could be challenging going for some younger kids. The guide, Cage, was excellent and was able to provide extra help to a younger participant who was anxious. We felt safe.

Hiking and rappelling at Bow and Arch Canyon - So freaking FUN!! First time canyoneering for everyone in our group ages 9 to 50s and we all had a blast. The awesome guide team of Adam and Cage was fantastic. They kept us all laughing but feeling secure. The hike up was moderate and provided great views of the La Sal mountains, dino tracks, Long Bow Arch and petroglyphs. We completed a total of 4 rappels. The first was a great intro on how to lean and shift weight. They only got more exciting after that. Great core memories for our whole family. We would do this again for sure. Highly recommend!

Super Fun - Cage, our guide, was amazing, knowledgeable, and trained for everything, including EMT. Not that we needed that part of his training, but it’s comforting to know this is a requirement of this company. The experience was super fun and the hike back out was gorgeous. Highly recommend

Lots of hiking; 2 rappels - I would have preferred a lot more rappelling and a lot less hiking. Guide, Adam, was great, though and made the excursion fun and enjoyable.
