Located just a short distance from downtown Moab, Bow & Arrow Canyon offers an ideal mix of breathtaking scenery and interactive desert adventure. This half-day guided excursion takes you along a 3-mile path where you can see petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, and enjoy expansive views of the La Sal Mountains.
Following a brief hike to Longbow Arch, participants will gear up and receive instruction on rappelling basics from an AMGA-certified guide. The adventure includes a series of four rappels, featuring an exhilarating free-hanging descent of over 100 feet!
With expert guidance and all necessary equipment provided, rappelling is accessible and suitable for beginners. The hike is moderately challenging, covering about 3 miles of uneven ground with some scrambling. No previous experience is needed, though a reasonable level of fitness is beneficial.
- All necessary technical gear for the tour (ropes, harnesses, helmets, gloves, and rappel devices) are provided. You’ll also receive professional instruction and guidance throughout the experience.
