The extent of exploration is tailored to the group’s ability. The expert guide will ensure a safe journey, highlighting the best photography spots and providing insights into the local geography and area. A BLM permit is required for Wire Pass, but rest assured, it will be arranged and included in the tour price.

Buckskin Gulch is one of the planet’s longest and deepest slot canyons, stretching approximately 24 miles if you explore only Buckskin Gulch and not Wire Pass. The canyon rarely exceeds 20 feet in width. Rest assured, the tour covers just the initial 5-6 miles to ensure a suitable experience. The canyon walls’ sweeping curves are awe-inspiring, showcasing a natural masterpiece crafted over millions of years. Inside the canyon, temperatures are significantly cooler than the surrounding sunlit Red Rocks. As you venture deeper, you may encounter water puddles that require wading. While capturing the canyon’s full beauty in one visit is impossible, you can certainly make an attempt! Although a permit is necessary, it is not a lottery permit, and our team can conveniently obtain it for you in advance, adding it to your total cost.
