We took the morning 1 1/2 hour ride which began at 9am. Plan to be there 45 minutes prior. They were very knowledgeable of each rider’s ability to match them with an appropriate horse or mule. Scariest part was the decent on small trails down the canyon but don’t let that deter you! What a beautiful way to start the morning and see the canyon from a different perspective. They will occasionally stop from time to time to allow horses in back to catch up and to point out scenery (and take photos). They will take a photo of each rider on the tour, print it out, and offer it to you for $10. Would highly recommend this tour!

It was a wonderful experience! Lovey horses and mules, small groups, guides with good skills and interesting and funny information in a breathtaking scenery. As a Dutch rider I was't used to riding without a helmet. It's a very good thing the helmets can be borrowed, even though it's American culture to ride without or wear a hat.
My 14 yo son never rode a horse and now wants to do it again! This experience was one of the highlights of our 25 days roadtrip.
