Amazingly beautiful hike, a must see!! - This is a breathtakingly beautiful hike with excellent tour guides who really look after you. I learned so much more about nature, the amazing South African geology and wildlife as well. I want to come back again!!

Scenic hike with a very good guide - Johan and Lauen picked us up on time early in the morning. On the way they talked us through what to expect on Table Mountain and some of the trail options we had. We chose one of the easier ones, a really scenic route up Kasteelspoort and the Kitchen Ravine, via the water reservoirs and from there to the cable car station on top of the mountain. Johan, our guide, made the hike very special. He had an incredible knowledge of the mountain and its vegetation, wildlife and the dam construction history that he shared with us in a very pleasant way. The weather was perfect for mountain hiking with sunny sky and mist that came and went throughout the day. Overall, the day was a great experience.

Touch the sky in Cape Town - Lauren took 3 of us on a hike up table mountain despite us been novices . We were collected and provided with equipment if we wanted and was returned to hotel once finished . Lauren was truly outstanding, guided hike was one of my highlights in life . She was patient and interesting along the way and helped take an amazing set of pictures. Thank you Lauren

TableTop mountain hike for sixty year old novice hikers - Perfect! - Hike was absolutely wonderful! Started promptly at 5 am. We originally had 2 couples scheduled to go, and one couple had to back up and she didn't even blink an eye. Lauren asked us a few questions to determine what type of hike would be best for us. That was so appreciated as we had picked a hike that would not have been a good fit for our skill set. Lauren was very conscientious, making sure our walk was safe, we were feeling good, asking questions about our trip. She was very knowledgeable about all the plants and animals and rock formations. I don't think there was one single question she wasn't able to answer! She knew exactly where the great locations were for photo opportunities and was quick to offer to take photos for us. We had a snack and a break before heading back down. For not living her entire life in South Africa/CapeTown, Lauren as the best! I would recommend her to anyone wanting to hike TableTop.

Best recommendations - We had a memorable and very enjoyable hike with our excellent hike guide, Brett. Besides being knowledgeable of Cape nature and hikes, he also brewed us fresh coffee on the top. It was truly a lovely experience. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Climbing Lion’s Head Mountain - My wife and I had an amazing experience hiking Lion’s Head Mountain with Johan October. He was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals, and the mountain itself. He seems to know every rock on the treacherous climb, which made us feel very comfortable and safe in his presence - thanks Johan!

We adjusted our route due... - We adjusted our route due to weather and cable car access for descent. Lauren and Geoff were very knowledgeable of all the different routes of Table Mountain and put us at ease as we changed course. Geoff is an avid botanist and great to learn about all the local flora and fauna.

You will not regret calling Mother City Hikers - Definitely one of those trips one could do by oneself but hiking with Johan with Mother City was 1000 times better. Not only did we get detailed information about the area’s history and politics but he was extremely knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. The only way to experience Table Mountain - Spent a great day hiking with Johan. We hiked at a comfortable pace which allowed him to point out a seemingly endless number of plants and birds. His love of the mountain and knowledge of its history and people added so much to the hike. If we had hiked on our own we would have seen some lovely views but missed a world of hidden treasures
