Skukuza - It’s July, August, September, October, and November—the ideal months to visit the Park. Enjoy a full day of spotting numerous predators and wildlife. An early start ensures we are ready for the morning game drive as the Phabeni gates open. Begin by searching for the wild dogs during the golden hour at Kruger Park—the best time is early morning, and we have a good idea of their location, so let’s hope for a sighting. Spend the rest of the morning observing various animals. The full day is long but rewarding as we explore the famous area around the Crocodile River from Skukuza to Lower Sabie. During the dry season, animals come to drink here, and predators lie in wait. There’s so much to see, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, birds, and many other animals, including the Big 5. This is the premier wildlife park in South Africa, if not the world, and it promises to be a memorable bucket list experience.

Kruger National Park - Travel along the renowned Lower Sabie Road by the Crocodile River and exit through Phabeni Gate. These roads are traditionally known for excellent sightings of the Big 5, wild dogs, cheetahs, and much more.

Phabeni - On the last day, a short trip into the park via Phabeni Gate is hopefully rewarding. The early morning drive is ideal for spotting wild dogs and the Big Five. Then, return to Johannesburg with cherished memories and hundreds of photos.
