- Camps Bay - Enjoy a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, passing through Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, and Hout Bay. A stop at Maiden’s Cove offers a photo opportunity with stunning views of the Twelve Apostles. This spot is ideal for panoramic photos of the ocean, Camps Bay Beach, Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the charming suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay. This is what we call a Kodak moment.
- Chapman’s Peak Drive - Leaving Camps Bay, the tour continues along Chapman’s Peak, stopping at the viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Chapman’s Peak is renowned as one of the most scenic routes globally.
- Cape Point Vineyards Tasting Room - Guests have the option to stop for wine tasting at the beautiful Cape Point Vineyards. Surrounded by lush vineyards and distant ocean views, the cool sea breezes contribute to a slow-growing season, resulting in a unique Sauvignon Blanc known worldwide for its rich minerality, structure, and tone. A sit-down lunch in their restaurant or a picnic lunch overlooking the man-made dam is highly recommended.
- Cape of Good Hope - The tour concludes at the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Lighthouse. Here, guests can explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama Crosses, marking the arrival of the first Europeans in Cape Town around 1487 & 1495. For those interested in hiking, please consult the guide. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, a jersey or jacket, and a hat are advised.
- Old Cape Point Lighthouse - From the Cape of Good Hope, guests can choose to hike to Cape Point or take the Funicular. Lunch options include a sit-down meal at Two Oceans restaurant or a take-out from the informal eatery. At Cape Point, the most south-western point of Africa, the cold Benguela current from the Atlantic Ocean meets the warm Agulhas current of the Indian Ocean. Guests will explore the lighthouse and more.
- Simon’s Town - The next stop is Simon’s Town, home to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. The guide will lead guests to the viewing point to see some of the 2500 breeding pairs of African Penguins up close. It’s possible to encounter these charming creatures on the boardwalk. The African craft market offers beautiful handcrafted African art, and there are several restaurants for lunch. The driver will recommend the best option.
- Muizenberg Beach - The final stop is at the vibrant Muizenberg beach houses, surrounded by the Muizenberg mountains. Guests can enjoy the sea breeze, take photos, and then return to Cape Town, where they will be dropped off at their accommodation.
