• Windmill Beach - The snorkeling adventure begins at our center in Glencairn, where participants receive a briefing and are equipped with the necessary gear. The snorkeling site is chosen based on the weather, ensuring the best visibility and calm conditions for the day. If the ocean is favorable, we may explore the local kelp forest in Glencairn.

However, on most days, we head to Windmill Beach in Simons Town. All snorkeling spots are accessible from the shore, as we do not use boats. Depending on the location, snorkelers might encounter fish, octopus, various shy sharks, sea stars, anemones, brittle stars, abalone, and other fascinating marine life.

Occasionally, curious seals, stingrays, and penguins may pass by, adding an element of surprise to the experience. Our guides assist with water entry, help participants get comfortable with their gear, highlight interesting sea creatures, and provide a buoy for support if needed. After snorkeling, there is a debriefing session, and participants can change into their clothes.

Participants can choose to leave directly from the snorkeling site if they have their own transportation or return with us to our center in Glencairn.

With easy shore entries, our snorkeling adventure is accessible to most age groups and does not require advanced swimming skills. Each guide carries a safety buoy in the water, providing support for those who may feel less confident while snorkeling.
