Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve is located in the heart of Zululand, where Africa’s Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhinoceros) roam the thriving savannah. Established in 1895, it is the oldest park in South Africa, covering over 98,000 hectares of stunning African landscape. This tour is conducted in a closed vehicle. The park boasts a vast diversity of fauna and flora and is distinguished by its hilly terrain. The list of animals in the park is extensive and varied. Hluhluwe Game Reserve forms the northern top half of the reserve, known for its rich variety of bird and animal life. South of Hluhluwe lies the Imfolozi Game Reserve, which constitutes the other half of the park. These two reserves were combined to create the largest reserve in KwaZulu-Natal.
