At the end of your sightseeing ride, your friendly driver will drop you off at your accommodation.

Well worth the short drive and absolutely gorgeous! - Ilias contacted us the day before and suggested we leave an hour later than our original booking time to get the best view. We left at 6:15 in early June and it was absolutely beautiful! The sun set around 8:40. He was on time, friendly, accommodating and eager to share his Greek culture with us. 6 out of 5 stars!

Unforgettable, remarkable experience 10/10 - The day trip was AMAZING. We had such a splendid time. Glykeria was so friendly, shared stories as well as history, took us to a lovely spot for a fantastic lunch. She absolutely made the trip memorable and was certainly a highlight of our stay in Athens. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Amazing Poseidon tour with Welcome Pickups/Glykeria - We had an unforgettable day visiting the Temple of Poseidon with Glykeria as our guide. Her depth of knowledge and the stories she shared about Greece and each place we visited brought everything to life. She offered thoughtful suggestions that made the day truly special, including an incredible lunch at a local seaside fish restaurant. We’re so grateful for the experience and highly recommend Welcome Pickups—especially Glykeria Kalomvouni. She was exceptional.

Ileas Kanteres at Welcome Pockups - We spent the morning with Ilea’s Kanteres again before he delivered us to our cruise ship. He was fun and engaging and a talented driver. We went to the Temple of Poseidon after a beautiful drive along the Aegean coast. We stopped to see an amazing thermal lake , and the oldest theater in Greece (4000 BC). His stories are informative and entertaining. We look forward to returning to Athens because Ileas made discovering its treasures so memorable. We highly recommend Ileas Kanteres at Welcome Pickups.

Car ride to Cape Sounion - We had a 4 hour experience to Cape Sounion, driven by Ilias. He was very friendly and explained and pointed out many sights as we were driving. When we got there there was an amazing view, perfect for picture taking. We visited at around 6 before the sunset and managed to avoid the crowd coming in to watch the sunset. It was 20 euros for admission and free for children, but the view was definitely worth it! The car was pleasant and clean, we have no complaints and overall this was an amazing part of our experience in Athens, our family had so much fun!

Dream tour in Athens and Poseidon temple - We discovered George through Welcome pick ups services. He was very generous with his knowledge and advices. We had a wonderful day discovering Athens and the gorgeous region of Sounion. He was very flexible in managing our changing schedule and was very competent. We had an amazing day and would recommend your services to anyone anytime! And i have to add, the vehicle we travelled in was beyond comfortable, even though we were 10! Definetely, I will miss your luxurious van back home hahaha! Unforgettable moments! Million thanks! I must say this tour is perfect! It combines essential of Athens and magnificence of region on your way to temple of Poseidon in Sounion. This tour is the best if you have just a day in Athens it is enough to discover yet relaxing because strolling in a 5 star van with the view of the shore all the way. We were a party of 10, 6 kids (7 to 15 yrs) and 4 parents... so the van option driving us around and being able to nap or sit if needed was perfect!!!

Great idea for a day trip - Our guide, Ilias, was incredible. We initially hired him to get us from the airport. He mentioned that he does tours, when we mentioned going to a lake nearby he said “ why don’t I take you and we can go to Poseidon’s temple too!” We are so glad we did. Ilias is full of knowledge and is incredibly kind. He took us to get lunch on the way back into town, which was just as amazing as he is. He made our trip to Athens very memorable. I highly recommend this tour and any others with Ilias 😌

Sightseeing in Athens - Ilias picked us up from the airport promptly and then we began our adventure. We went to the beautiful Lake Vouliagmeni and saw how the cave became a deep lake due to an earthquake. We then drove the coast and went to the Temple of Poseidon, which was amazing. We spent time going through the remains. We then went for a drive and ended up at our hotel.
