A great day with Richard and Wendel! A perfect way to tour the west side of St. Lucia. - We had a great time with Richard and Wendel all day aboard Solomon’s Water Taxi and Tours. He took us around the Pitons, and all the way from Soufriere to Pigeon Island. We got off several times, including lunch at Marigot Bay, snorkeling and shopping at Castries Market. They were fantastic.

Full day private custom combination water and land tour- AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! - Wow! What a fantastic experience!!! Captain Jason and our guide Ifus were truly wonderful. They picked us up via boat (family of 4 with 2 teen age boys) from the dock of our Airbnb condo complex in the Rodney Bay Marina. Took us via boat to Soufriere with a great explanation of everything we passed by. We then did a 1/2 day land tour from Soufriere, in a comfortable van, with Caleb as our driver. We went to the mud baths, Touraille waterfall and Tet Paul Hike. Grabbed lunch from their Mom's restaurant (really great local food- the fish was so fresh!) and went back on the boat to Sugar beach. Ate a picnic on Sugar Beach (we would have likely eaten at the restaurant- but there were several cruise ships in town that day- so the place was very busy, so Ifus suggested a picnic- great choice!!). Afternoon was spent snorkeling at Sugar Beach as well as enjoying that beach and then back onto the boat to another snorkeling spot right out of the boat. Both spots were truly fantastic. And then a fun boat ride home while enjoying a Piton beer and touring Marigot bay, a bat cave etc. Captain Jason, Ifus and Caleb were all great. Very engaging, funny and so informative. It was very easy to book and everyone was extremely flexible to our needs!! We had a truly memorable day- really the best day of our trip! Would highly recommend to all!!

Snorkeling with Richard the Party Guy was awesome! - Richard the party guy took us on a snorkeling trip around Sugar Beach and Soufriere and it was awesome! We got a private 2 hour boat trip and got to see beautiful tropical fish. He also got us lunch from a local restaurant that was absolutely delicious. He was a lot of fun and very informative. We felt very safe the whole time. Highly recommend!

Half day snorkel trip - We had a great time out on the boat with a lovely american couple and Richard and Wendall. They took us whale watching (unfortunately whales had not got the memo and declined to show), snorkelling in 3 sites, quick stop at the batcave (no sign of christian bale unfortunately) then a delicious st lucian lunch in Soufriere. It was well worth the money and kids loved it, i would even go so far to say that we had a whale of a time but i may get taxed for bad jokes...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Honeymoon Experience – Truly Unforgettable! - My husband and I chose the private tour with Solomon’s Water Taxi & Tours for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we stepped aboard, we were treated like family. Our guides were warm, fun, and so knowledgeable, showing us hidden beaches and breathtaking coastal views we never would’ve seen from the resort. The mud bath and volcanic waterfalls were even better than we imagined—relaxing, romantic, and unforgettable. Lunch at Stone Yard Restaurant & Bar was delicious and authentically local, a perfect touch to the day. We loved supporting this family-run business, where everyone goes above and beyond to make your experience special. For couples or anyone visiting Saint Lucia, this tour is pure perfection!

Best Day in St. Lucia – Private Water Taxi Adventure Between the Pitons - We booked Solomon Water Taxi & Tours for a private excursion, and it ended up being the best day of our entire cruise itinerary. Skipping the long, bumpy island drives, we explored St. Lucia by boat with Richard (our captain) and Wendell (first mate), and it was the most romantic and personalized way to see the island. Our day included everything from snorkeling and freediving in clear waters to waterfalls, mud baths, and relaxing beach time between the Pitons. Each stop felt unhurried, and the views from the water were absolutely breathtaking. The trip was both adventurous and romantic—well worth the splurge compared to the other ports we visited. Solomon’s is a completely family-run business, and it shows in the care and hospitality. Richard and Wendell went above and beyond to make the day unforgettable. If you’re arriving by cruise, this is hands-down the way to experience St. Lucia. While other passengers complained about slow road travel and hectic driving, we felt relaxed, spoiled, and grateful we chose the water route. Highly recommend Solomon Water Taxi & Tours—worth every penny for an amazing, one-of-a-kind St. Lucia experience!

We had a great time - My partner and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Solomon Water Taxi & Tours on our recent trip to St. Lucia. Our guides, Wendell and Richard, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we stepped on the boat. We took a trip to Soufriere where Solomon's father gave us a fantastic tour of the **Toraille Waterfall** and the **Sulphur Springs mud baths**. While the tour was fast-paced, the exceptional customer service from Solomon's team made it a truly memorable experience. We also booked a private sunset cruise, which was the highlight of our trip. Wendell and Richard shared fascinating information about the area, including the majestic Pitons, local life on the island, and even some fishing stories. We loved being able to play our own music, which created a wonderfully personalized atmosphere. Additionally, we spent a fantastic afternoon snorkeling at **Anse Chastanet**, near Jade Mountain, and relaxing on the beautiful beach. Overall, we can't recommend Solomon Water Taxi & Tours enough. Their friendly and knowledgeable team, combined with the stunning scenery of St. Lucia, made for an unforgettable vacation.

Friday Night Street Party boat tour and Full Day Snorkeling - We met Solomon on the beach at Sugar Beach. After reading all the great reviews back home, I knew he was the one I needed to talk to about a boat tour. The main thing we wanted was to go to the Friday Night Street Party “Jump Up” in Gros Islet. This was not a tour I saw offered anywhere from the Soufriere area, but he made it happen for us. We got a private tour up the coast with great commentary led by Wendell and driving by our fabulous captain Richard. We had a stop in Marigot Bay. Then to Gros Islet for the Street Party. First Wendell led us to get dinner at the Fish Frye. Then he took us to the street party where we wandered around for a couple hours enjoying the atmosphere and the vendors and bars set up in the streets. Dancing in the street with the DJ music was so much fun. Definitely an experience to remember and a highlight of our trip to St Lucia. Then a few days later we had a great full day of snorkeling, again with Wendell and Richard, with 3 snorkel spots and a delicious lunch at Solomon’s mom’s in Soufriere. Solomon and his family made the process to book and pay for these tours so easy. Highly recommend you see Solomon for any boat tours you can dream up!

Awesome experience - Richard was awesome. Hooked us up with whatever we wanted! We were there for our honeymoon, we did the half day excursion, mud bath, lunch with locals, snorkeling and booze cruise. Then booked ATV’s and zip lining.

Great Guides but Overpriced - We enjoyed our time with Richard and Wendall. They were fun, helpful and accommodating. They were happy to let us spend the day how we chose. Our only disappointment was we were expecting something different from the snorkeling - maybe to go out from the island a bit? We cruised slowly along the shoreline and visited 3 snorkeling areas. It was nice being in the water and we saw some interesting fish, but if you have been to somewhere like Turks & Caicos or Cozumel, just be aware this will not be that type of snorkeling. The last snorkel area felt like a tourist dump spot where everyone from every tour snorkeled on Sugar Beach. It was ok, just more people, obviously. I can't imagine this in the busy season. One thing to note - do not buy anything from the gift shop on Sugar Beach!! The guy running the shop was the most rude person we encountered our entire trip. I wish I had not given him any of our business, but we didn't think we would have other shopping chances on our short trip. I have never seen someone who is doing business for tourists who seemed to dislike tourists so much. He seemed so put out to even answer our questions. Solomon Tours - I would stop recommending that shop to people. Overall, we recommend Solomon Tours and have absolutely no complaints for our wonderful tour guides, but just know this trip and other snorkel trips out of Soufriere are not going to do much other than take you along the short shoreline. And the snorkeling is not the best. I think for what you get, $400 for two people is way overpriced.
