Sosua Beach offers a lot of shops, bars and restaurants, you will have time for shopping, eating and drinking ( your own expenses ).

Great experience - We had an amazing time on this tour. Richard picked us up right outside the cruise gates and transported us to the beach where we were fitted for our fins and then hopped aboard the boat to head to our snorkel spots. There were only 4 of us and were accompanied by 3 tour guides. They were flexible and gave us the option of going to the 2nd snorkel spoke which we did decide to go to. All photos and videos they took were included. When we got back to the beach, we had chairs and umbrellas on the beach included along with a server who brought us drinks and food (at our expense). We got back with about an hour to spare. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the local sights and beaches of the island.

Excellent, friendly one stop service. - Richard is the owner and waited for us despite our ship being late into port, very comfortable transport with another couple. Very efficient and attentive throughout - family run business (originally from Netherlands but been here 30 yrs).
Excellent snorkeling in two different reef spots. Water was so, so clear - best we’ve seen around the world.
Great value for money. We’ll definitely be back for more trips with Richard !

Mucho better than overcrowded cruise ship excursions - This is a great snorkeling option when cruising to Puerto Plata/Amber Cove. Very reasonably priced. Lotta was in constant communication throughout the process, Richard picked us up right outside the port gates as promised on time. We enjoyed chatting with him on the drive over. He’s lead an interesting life! There were only six of us on a boat that held 18. Alex was a great guide, there if you needed him but really let us snorkel independently which is what we like. Tons of fish. After snorkeling we had 2 hours on Sousa beach and lunch of ceviche rice beans plantains and a few Presidente cervezas. Richard had us back to the port with an hour to spare. Great way to spend your cruise day

Incredible Puerto Plata snorkeling excursion - We did this as an excursion for our Puerto Plata cruise stop and it was incredible. The communication was tremendous, and everyone involved was so friendly, starting from being picked up at the cruise port and driven to Sosua Beach for our excursion. Richard, Lotta, and Franklin all treated us so well and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was special.
There were some cancelations from other members in our snorkeling group, but instead of canceling on us they took the two of us out as a couple and we had the entire snorkeling tour to ourselves. We saw so many fish in our 2 stops and saw our first octopus as well, and Franklin took 50+ photos and sent them to us for free within 2 hours of our trip being completed.
After snorkeling, we had 2 hours with an umbrella and chairs on the beach and had lunch and drinks from a local restaurant. The scenery was great and the people of Sosua were all friendly. When we were done, Lotta drove us back to our port in plenty of time to get some shopping done before getting back on the ship. We can’t wait to come back with our family and do a fishing trip or another snorkeling tour with this group.

The BEST snorkeling experience in Sousa Bay - Every minute of this experience was absolutely wonderful!! We did snorkeling and Alex, Franklin and Poncho did everything they could to be sure we were having a positive experience we were picked up at the port and driven to a site that gave us positive snorkeling outcomes They offered 2 separate locations that gave us the opportunity to view lots of variety/colors of numerous fish they were very attentive to making sure we were safe every minute That was their primary concern so we could relax and totally enjoy all there was to see so many varieties of fish PLUS Alex took numerous underwater shots of us that will bring back so many memories of our underwater experience and all the varieties of fish we got close to!! You will be so glad to book an unforgettable excursion, one you will never forget!!

Beautiful Snorkeling Experience - Beautiful Snorkeling Experience! The communication was amazing prior to the excursion. The staff was attentive and took us to two different locations to snorkel. They were constantly checking to make sure everyone was doing okay while in the water. After the excursion, they shared photos they took via WhatsApp at no extra charge. Also, they use a great cleaner for the goggles-mine never fogged. I highly recommend them!

Best tour operator with awesome staff - We had the most amazing experience. Richard and his team went out if their way to make our day special. My 55 year old niece had never snorkeled before and our guide was super patient, calm and tender to help her experience the underwater world. We cut our snorkeling short in lieu of being able to set up a massage ( 5 stars as well). So besides snorkeling we had time to shop in Sosua Bay, massage and had another stop over at Cofresi Beach. We were back at port by 3 pm and still had time to experience the Amber Cove Pool (Tour duration was about 6 hours). We were obviously a small group but I would also recommend him for private tour)

I will definitely book with you again! Planning to be there in May and hoping to do a couple of dives! - Saw a lot of fish! Reefs were in pretty good shape….visibility could have been better but we can’t control the waves or the weather
