Enjoy the historic center of Sorrento without stress and maps! Starting from the Valley of the Mills, we’ll explore the geological history of the city, then visit the Sedil Dominova, a 14th-century city council building. Next, we’ll dive into the famous Sorrento inlay, a traditional local art form, and learn about lemon cultivation and limoncello production. We’ll then head down to the fishing port of Marina Grande and back up to visit the Cloister of San Francesco, concluding with a tasting of limoncello and limoncello cream. This tasting, offered by a partner shop, will help you appreciate the unique qualities of limoncello.
For those interested, it’s possible to visit the Cathedral of Sorrento at the end of the tour. Please note that as the main and active church of the city, it may not be accessible at certain times, especially on Saturdays or Sundays, due to ongoing celebrations.
- In case of uncertain weather or rain it is recommended to bring an umbrella, a raincoat and to pay even greater attention in choosing shoes, which must be non-slip, given the slope of some sections and the slipperiness. In the event of adverse weather that does not allow the tour to be carried out, a message will be sent communicating the impossibility of carrying out the tour.
