Excellent Food Tour in Sorrento - We had a great food tour with Giovanni as our host. He took us to places we would have never found on our own. We started out with a little sweet and then on to a deli that had all kinds of meats and cheeses. One of the cheeses was made fresh that morning. We tried different wines as well. Next on to gnocchi. They even had gluten free.for one of our party. Next was lemoncello, some sweets and we ended with espresso and cake. We did the tour at 17:30 so it was our dinner. We also got to see some historical sites while walking. We all enjoyed the tour and recommend doing it with Giovanni.

Sorrento food fun! - We had a lovely evening walking through Sorrento, tasting local food, savory and sweet and learning a little history of the town. Our guide, Giovanni was great fun! He talked about the tastings and gave some local perspectives on how the food was prepared. Although our group of 8 didn’t know each other, we became fast friends. Great experience!!!

Giovanni was a fantastic tour guide. - We had the best time on a private tasting tour with Giovanni! Not only did he guide us to historical gems to visit later, but he also introduced us to flavors we never would have dared to try otherwise. I can’t recommend this experience enough—I loved being able to see Sorrento through the eyes of a local who is so passionate about his home.

And Now……. - Our food tour with Giovanni was an absolute highlight. He had us laughing from start to finish, bringing so much energy and personality to the experience. It never felt like a typical tour—more like exploring the city with a fun, knowledgeable friend who knows all the best spots. The food was incredible, with a great mix of local favorites and hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. Every stop was delicious and thoughtfully chosen. Overall, such a great experience. Amazing food, lots of laughs, and memories we won’t forget. Highly recommend going with Giovanni!

The tastes of Sorrento perfected! - This isn’t my first food tour in Europe, but it may have been the best. My wife and I booked a tour with Gio and specifically enjoyed the information he shared, the artisans we got to visit, and of course the food! I have been on other food tours where the guide has no idea how to balance the experience out so you don’t feel like a glutton when you’re done. When you go in this tour it kinda feels like a meal palette cleanser, appetizer, main dish, dessert - the way it supposed to be, you leave happy and full. Highly recommend!

10 tastings does not mean 10 stops...nor does it mean full servings. - Not sure of the value of this experience. Guide was a lovely, quiet guy.  We enjoyed the foods and that his focus was locally owned and produced food.  However, I'm not sure the foods we tried plus his efforts was worth the expense.  10 tastings sound like a lot, but honestly it was 2 desserts, a light charcuterie tray (1 salami, 2 cheeses, tomatoes and crackers), gnocchi, espresso and limoncello...the 2 different limoncello tastings were lovely, but free tastings were available to anyone coming into the store...leaving us feeling a bit light on the value for price paid.  Added to the light stops, everything was shared between 2 people.  A great idea if there are a lot of stops, maybe not  for the few we had .  To feel like we received value for the cost, I would have preferred an addition of a secondo small meat dish, or...fill us up at the beginning with a more hearty charcuterie (more meats and cheeses).
