Excellent experience with Sorrento Food Tours company - If you’re visiting Sorrento area, do yourself a favor and book a Sorrento Food Tourss- walking food tour and the Amalfi Coast boat tour—seriously, both were highlights of our trip. The Sorrento food tour was fun and felt really authentic. All of the food and drink were excellent and private lemon grove was a special treat. Our guide Tamara made it even better with great stories and local tips. It’s easily one of the best ways to experience Sorrento and restaurant recommendations. The Amalfi Coast/ Positano boat tour was just as incredible. Seeing the coastline from the water is unreal—crystal-clear water, colorful towns, and stunning views everywhere you look. Too chilly yet to swim but great crew. Both experiences were well-organized. If you’re looking for the best things to do in Sorrento or an unforgettable Amalfi Coast experience, these are 100% worth it.

Tamara and food tour-a great combination. - We were 2 couples from Manchester,UK spending 10 days in Sorrento. There were around a dozen of us on this particular tour. The lovely Tamara was our guide who was fabulous, chatty, friendly and informative. We were taken to some eateries we probably would have walked past but these places were the best places to try. We went back to 1 little pizzeria the next day down a tiny side street and had the best pizza during our entire holiday, so tasty. A trip to a Limoncello factory with numerous samples to try and of course, we had to buy one, but not particularly expensive at all. Tamara was a real star, we probably had lots of stories to tell each other as we were both sort of involved in the rock n roll business back in the past. Thanks Tamara, hope to meet up with you again sometime in the future. XX

Entirely worth it - Tamara was an absolute gem. She brings you to spots that are great and not tourist traps. We did the 10:30am start and you won’t have to worry about being hungry until dinner. Everything was first class, couldn’t suggest this enough.

Get to know Sorrento through food - The first thing we do every time we go to a new city is a food tour. Helps us get a bit of history, geography and fabulous food finds and recommendations. Tamara took us for amazing pizza, gnocchi, limoncello, gelato, you name it. No one left hungry. If you want to start to get to know Sorrento, do this food tour. It doesn’t disappoint.

Disappointing. Not private group as expected. Not welcoming tour guide - Tour guide did not have any audio device yet expected our group of 12 (plus added 3) to follow closely to hear her. She would make you know if you weren’t listening and happen to ask her to repeat the information. I am the host who booked a private group of 12. To our surprise, there were 3 strangers added to our group. They were very nice people and didn’t mind but that wasn’t what our private group (friends expected). My surprise looked must have given away, Tamara looked at me and said “is there a problem”?that was at the meeting point. From that moment, I was not feeling the warmth and felt disconnected through the whole tour. I have done many food tours in Athens, Barcelona, Switzerland… all were very nice and the food and drink stops were amazing. This tour in Sorrento is my least favorite, the last meal was a blend gnocchi and a glass of wine. This was supposed to be a food and wine tour. We had wine once to my recollection. It was not worth our time and money for value received. Not sure if our tour guide had a long day but felt like she didn’t want to be there when she was rolling her eyes a few times. My group would have made the same comments if you are to ask them individually. We paid over $1400 for this tour and will not do it again nor would I recommend to anyone. For that price, we could have had few bottles of wine and a good meal with our friends. I do not like to leave such a negative review but this was OUR experience.
