Best Boat Tour of Capri - Sal and his family are amazing. They picked us up in the morning. We’re super friendly and gave us an amazing tour of Capri. Finished off with them making us lunch on the boat which was fantastic. And gave us a free ride home after we docked. They made the whole experience so amazing!

Highly recommended - Highly recommended! Sal was in regular contact with us right up to the point of hotel pick up ready for our trip. The guys on board and Sal’s father (boat captain) were super hosts, nice and friendly and providing commentary of the coast line. Grazie Sal!

Boat Crew/ time on water was Excellent… but Amalfi/Positano leave a lot to be desired. Overrun with tourists. - The crew was excellent and took care of us extremely well. The tour delivered exactly as was described/advertised. The meal on board was fresh and light, with beverages offered. Crew hospitality was wonderful all day. The time we enjoyed the most was on the boat itself cruising along the coast. The afternoon (after stops at Amalfi and Positano) was our favorite part when we got to swim in the clear water and just relax in the sun. Amalfi and Positano were beautiful, but overrun with tourists and very crowded. We only had slightly over an hour in each town, so we were not able to explore the area beyond the congested, touristy streets near the shore. The time at both of those spots did not seem authentic nor was it enjoyable. I would use Sal Boat and his crew again for another tour, perhaps one that was a little shorter and most of the time was on the water.

Amazing sea views of the Amalfi Coast - This was a great experience. The weather was unseasonably cold in the morning, but the tour operators made the most of it, handing out spare beach towels to use as blankets for those who needed them on the morning leg of the trip. The sights seen from the sea were amazing! Touring this area from the road just would not have had the same punch. The 1.5 hour stops in Amalfi and Positano were just the right amount of time to walk around each town to get a feel, and to take part in a museum tour (Ancient Arsenal of the Republic if Amalfi) or a nice drink/snack in a sunny terrazza (Positano). The crew was friendly, fun, and informative, and provided a simple organic meal in the way back, even accommodating my wife's gluten free requirements. We paused on the return voyage for only a quick swim due to the cooler weather, but it was clear and the sun was bright and warm so the views were spectacular.

A great day on the water with fun destinations - A great way to see the Amalfi coast and visit a couple of towns (Positano and Amalfi). The boat crew was wonderful and caring, making sure everyone was safe and having a great time. The number of passengers was just right for the size of the boat. While I wish we had more shore time, it is constrained by the overall schedule for the day. The crowds on shore made seeing a lot of the towns difficult. Highlight was being able to jump in for a swim in uncrowded calm waters.

Many to choose from: Choose this one! - We researched a lot of water excursions, and chose this one. Their boat provides some coverage from the sun, and included a lite lunch ( pasta, caprese salad, cake). The lunch was helpful because we did not want to spend our limited time in Positano and Amalfi eating lunch at a restaurant ... we had planned on visiting museums in both. We arranged for pick up at our hotel. All the staff was friendly and helpful, describing what we were seeing in rock formations, villas, caves and towns. Waters, sodas, prosecco and limoncello were also served. And yes, there is a bathroom on board. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Tour and Friendly Staff - My friend and I were picked up by Sal in town before the boat trip. As soon as we got on the boat, the captain pointed us towards the bow of the boat to sit. We had gorgeous views the entire time. The crew was insightful and funny and gave us a delicious and light lunch. Past with veggies, caprese salad, and chocolate cake. Prosecco and homemade limoncello (this was amazing) were also shared. The first leg of the boat ride is the longest as you travel all the way to Amalfi town. I recommend planning some things to see or do in Amalfi and Positano prior to the day of the trip so you have a plan upon arrival. 90 minutes seemed like a lot but went by very fast. We had a great 30 minute swim off the coast of positano. On the trip back, my friend and I fell asleep towards the bow of the boat. A sign of a great day! Thank you SalBoat ☺️

Lovely day out - My daughter and myself had a lovely day out with Salboats. Beautiful weather which was a real bonus. Boat was fine, could have been more comfortable, but the staff were very attentive and looked after us well. Nice lunch on board. Stopped at Amalfi and Positano, nice to look round but very busy. Was able to have a swim in the sea on the way back which was very nice. Enjoyed the day very much and the coast line is magnificent.
