The sun was just beginning to cast its golden glow over the charming town of Sorrento as I made my way to the Parcheggio Achille Lauro. The anticipation of a day spent exploring the legendary Amalfi Coast by boat was palpable. Our journey continued to the historic town of Amalfi, where we had ample time to explore its charming streets and sample its renowned pastries. The scent of freshly baked sfogliatelle filled the air, and I couldn’t resist indulging in one of these flaky delights. Here, I took the opportunity to savor a glass of limoncello, the region’s signature liqueur, made from the fragrant lemons that thrive in the Mediterranean climate. As the day drew to a close, we enjoyed a final swim stop before returning to Marina Grande. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the coast, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the unforgettable experience.
