The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I made my way to the central bus station in Sorrento. I took a moment to savor a leisurely lunch at a quaint restaurant with a view of the azure sea. Though tempted to explore Anacapri, I heeded the advice to focus on one area, ensuring a more immersive experience. As the afternoon sun began to dip, it was time to reboard the boat for our return journey. The cruise back to Sorrento was a serene experience, with the island’s dramatic cliffs and iconic Faraglioni sea stacks providing a stunning backdrop. The crew treated us to a farewell limoncello tasting, a sweet and tangy toast to a day well spent.
