• Pompeii Archaeological Park - Begin the day with a drive along the Sorrento Coast. After approximately a 45-minute journey, arrive at the ruins of Pompeii, the first stop on this awe-inspiring day tour, where you will have the chance to explore one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites! Pompeii was part of an ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Licensed guides can be arranged in advance (additional cost), or you can explore the site independently. However you choose to experience this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be amazed as you witness the remnants of this 1st-century city, offering insights into Roman life that abruptly ended on 24 August AD 79. After this incredible historical experience, you can choose to continue the tour to Herculaneum or visit a local family winery located at the foot of Mt. Vesuvius.
