The path traces ancient mule tracks that historically linked the hamlet of Nocelle near Positano with Bomerano in Agerola. Named for its extraordinary beauty, the Path of the Gods is a magical destination that has enchanted hikers for generations. The trail meanders through terraced slopes, past deserted farmhouses, and across Mediterranean scrubland. Along the route, you might encounter shepherds with their mules, as well as sightings of wildlife such as kestrels, peregrine falcons, and lizards.
