Recommended Pasta & Wine Pairing activity in Sorrento Area - The host Vittoria opens her lovely home which is nestled in the hills of Sorrento and offers a breath taking view of the sea, Casa Foirita, to guests enrolled in this fun course. She offers an Apero comprised of a local product (in our case cheese) and a Prosecco from region (they were out of this years Prosecco produced by her family). Dessert (Tiramisu) & Pasta making was organized, easy and fun to do, something different from eating out at another restaurant… Vittoria and her helper are kind and good humored. Wine pairrings with the three courses were informative and yummy. All three wines were produced from grapes local to the region at Vittoria’s family vineyard outside of Naples. Casa Foirita is a gorgeous Villa from the 1700s. Since we went in winter we were inside. In warmer weather, she gives the class outside on a lovely terrace over looking the olive trees. The olive oil produced at Casa Foirita is also delicious (regret not asking if we could buy a can as souvenir). Looking for something different to do with your group of travelers in Sorrento area - join Vittoria - you won’t be disappointed!

We had an easy time arriving to the location, were able to park, and enjoyed the beauty of her property and the views. Some experiences don't fade - they stay with you forever. This cooking class with Vittoria was one - Traveling to Italy has been at the top of my bucket list for YEARS. Taking an evening to learn and cook in a real family home (not a restaurant, school, or hotel) was an absolute must for me. Vittoria delivered just that, and so much more. It felt like magic being able to make family recipes in an outdoor kitchen in a villa built in the 1800s, surrounded by lemon trees and views of the Mediterranean Sea. We had some of the best meals while in Italy, but nothing compared to the flavor, heart, and soul of what we made that day. I can't wait to recreate and share these dishes at home. If you ever find yourself in the Amalfi Coast: book this class. You'll leave with more than a recipe. You'll leave with a memory that you get to carry with you forever.

Everything we hoped it would be and more! - We had the most amazing experience with Vittoria learning how to make tagliatelle, ravioli and tiramisu from scratch. The setting was absolutely stunning at her family villa dating back to the 1800s! Beautiful grounds and stunning view from the terrace of the Gulf of Naples. The class took place in the lovely outdoor kitchen area. We lucked out that we were the only ones booked on that day so had a really personal experience which was really special. The chef kindly cooked our pasta while we got to explore the grounds. While eating the pasta and tiramisu we made, Vittoria talked us through a selection of excellent wines from her family vineyard to go with each course. The pick up point from outside the hospital was easy to find and Vittoria picked us up and dropped us back so was very straight forward. The afternoon was everything we hoped it would be and more. We would definitely book again in the future and highly recommend to everyone.

An unforgettable cooking class in Sorrento - Forget any restaurant cooking class - go to the beautiful villa Casa Florida! with amazing views away from the crowds of nearby Sorrento. A stunning garden and fabulous kitchen setting.. Vik and Linda were the delightful - pairing unforgettable locally produced wine (that you can buy!) and pasta that you create with their helpful guidance. Then you enjoy the meal with wine and end with tiramisu that is created at the beginning of the day. We will never forget this culinary experience.

Excellent time - Vik was a suburb host. The family villa is a working olive farm and of course lemon. The sunset from her perch in the hills over the bay amazing. We made ravioli and fettuccini, which was paired with her family wines and olive oil! So much fun.

Fun and delicious! - We had a very intimate experience. Just two of us with thee Sommelier and the chef. Our welcome was wonderful with cheese and prosecco and a small tour. The outdoor kitchen was so charming and they were so friendly, we knew we were going to have a great time. We cooked Tiramisu, then Ravioli and pasta. We had some free time to wander about while the chef cooked our meals, then had an amazing time eating our meals pared with the local wine. Vic explained the pairing and why the wine complimented the food so well. I truly enjoyed the experience and recommend this to anyone who loves wine and pasta.
