Must do tour! - Giovanni gave us an informative tour and made sure we saw all the best domus, snackbar, thermal pools , mosaics etc. Giovanni answered all our questions and went at a perfect pace. He spoke beautiful understandable English.

Exceptional guide and captivating journey - Excellent visit, the information of our guide Giovanni was relevant and very captivating. Nearly 2000 years and the village is well preserved. I recommend the guided tour to all.

Hassle free happiness - Booked 3 tours with Tempio in October 25: Skip the line with 2 hour walking guided tour of Pompei, Skip the line with 2 hour walking guided tour of Herculaneum & Minibus day trip to Positano & Amalfi. All 3 were excellent. Both tour guides were friendly, welcoming, approachable and very informative and passionate about their subject. The minibus driver whilst not speaking much English played us a helpful recording of the days schedule - and offered to take photos for everyone at a scenic location. Office staff also very helpful.

Herculaneum Tour - Loved our tour of Herculaneum archaeological restorations. Tour was fabulous led by Giovanni who has an excellent manner, welcoming, with good humour and so informative about the archaeological restorations. Thoroughly recommend this tour

Two stunning hours in Herculaneum - Train tickets and wrist band identifying us as a particular group were ready and waiting at the pickup point as advised by the agency’s representative. Clear instructions on which train to catch were also included. Advice on getting to the Herculaneum meeting point were a bit confusing as the tour is titled Herculaneum but everything is signposted as Ercolano. Pace of the tour was excellent and our tour guide Giovanni was very informative and managed the needs of the group well. Really liked his presentation style. There were two negative aspects of this tour. Firstly, two members of the group got off at the wrong stop as they were listening for Herculaneum but the stop refers to Erculano. Secondly two of our group dropped out just past the initial level of the tour walking was too difficult on the cobblestones and the track too steep for them to use. The brochure does not mention level of fitness or walking capability requirements

We can recommend this... - We can recommend this tour since we had an excelkent tour guide, Giovanni. His informative and fascinating narrative took us back in time and left us with a need to read more about Roman civilisation and the daily life of the affluent Romans in the colonies. Without Giovanni the visit would not have been the same. His knowledge of Roman architecture and engineering and art made this an experience that we will remember forever. Excellent visit - Visit to Herculaneum today, offered as a replacement for a Vesuvius excursion cancelled following the large fire in early August. Not disappointed, very interesting visit. Giovanni is a very professional, attentive guide and he distills his knowledge with pleasure.

Access to tour site is... - Access to tour site is not easy. Getting to train station not easy. Small crowded poorly marked station in Sirrento. Walk to from station and park difficult for mildly handicapped like my wife. Thought tour guide was very good, but not expert as labeled. Site was not well labeled nor was a map available.

Good trip except the for journey back - A good guide made the visit informative and interesting. However along with most other people on the tour we got on the wrong train returning to Sorrento there were no announcements and we didn't know another train came in at the same time as ours was due. we nearly ended up a long way from Sorrento without the help of another passenger on the train.
